Another successful run of ranked play abruptly ended by server issues. Any tips for keeping the game online (other than changing operating systems)? I was about to smash face after 5 wins in a row.
Ugh, I've never even considered the nefarious incentive to overload your servers on purpose to cut short paid content and force repurchases. I've got to imagine they want to give you the best play experience possible for longterm growth. Maybe the servers are just overloaded today with the iPad launch?
I actually have only had a few disconnects since launch. In beta it would be a plague all day for about a day. I imagine the iPad launch has doubled the normal load though.
I have had very little disconnects that have been Blizzards fault. The only thing I can suggest is get better internet if you continually have problems, or have a tech come out and make sure everything is working fine. If you have old terrible wiring they will replace it for free depending on the company usually.
Thanks for the replies, my disconnects have definitely gone down since the Beta, I just get so frustrated when my internet connection shows full bars, I can pull down web pages on chrome, and even the battlenet client shows me as online, but it just sits there and hangs for a minute before I'm forced to forfeit. Maybe a new ethernet cable is in order.

Welcome to free-to-play games.
Then again, blizz should have ample money for non-shit servers from the help of people buying decks.

I've had like 1 disconnection in the last 3 months...
