I find this VERY frustrating in the fact that blizzard goes ahead and nerfs every good deck there has ever been in the past, even including TWICE over to unleash the hounds, and now we have this ZERO SKILL warlock deck consisting of ..... every 1 drop in the game and 3-4 >4 drops... and yet it is getting people from 25 to LEGENDARY within WEEKS.... I CAN NOT be the only person that sees a problem here seriously WTF its NOT FUN to play against and its not even fun to play AS. and in the past we have seen these VERY WEAK reasons for nerfing because of the "fun factor" and trust me, fun is not the only thing that has to do with it.
The meta should hopefully change with Naxx. They said that they would implement ways of dealing with the current meta with the new adventure modes. So that means they aren't going anywhere until at least Naxx.
Also, it's hard to nerf a deck that's built out of what are otherwise the weakest cards in the game. They would need to make a blanket change to all low cost cards.
It's far more likely that they'll change the play environment (say by adding more 1 or 2 damage AoE effects, or a mid-range critter that silences what it attacks).
yeah it makes sense they won't do anything until Naxx, all I am saying is they BETTER address this, because IMHO this "zoo" deck is WAY more OP than most of the previously nerfed decks, (all the mages cards, the first unleash, warsong commander) with those decks you could actually set up and play around the incoming OTK, with zoo its just nonstop barrage of BS from turn 1 to turn 7.. honestly lol i'm sure no one can disagree it is in no way shape or form "fun." obviously we've all beat the deck but about 6-7/10 you are going to lose. period. and no it is not even fun winning against the deck i feel like i need to take a break after beating the deck because my blood vessels are on the verge of exploding. LOL
Yeah definitely, I don't even feel it's rush just this particular "style" of it.. I mean people moaned about hunters when the second and even first change came about UTH, but they are absolutely beatable, I don't even mind playing hunters anymore because at least it feels semi balanced, just don't over extend or your committing suicide, and the same goes with most other aggro decks, but this is just ridiculous, honestly hands down
it would be unreal if that is the case i think definitely more aggro decks will come out of Naxx but variants on the zoo idea would be brutal, but i agree shinobi it probably will :(
If something is to be done. They need to fix common taunt minions first. Seriously all of them are terrible with missing stats like 1/4 patriarch (need 1 more stat) or weird stats distribution such as 1/7 taunt, 5/4 booty bay, 6/5 lord arena, etc. Ideally, taunt minion should have 2 health higher than its attack, eg. Senjin 3/5 and DotC 4/6. If they change patriarch to 2/4 it would be very effective to combat with aggro.
how do you suppose they go about nerfing it when the warlock can easily just find the next most efficient monster to replace whatever you're hoping they nerf? the warlock hero power is the main problem

i disagree, Handlock and other variants are very counter-intuitive, when you combine it with all 1/2 drops that honestly have no business even in a warlock deck it's pretty ridiculous, I can't attribute it to the hero-power because hand-lock is very viable and relys heavily on it, but is in no-way as OP as the zoo, something has to change. and I don't get paid to balance this game, like the full-time dev's do, so my opinion on how they go about it is completely irreverent no am i even going to attempt to make a suggestion, it's not my job nor place..
Zoo deck strength isn't in the minions, but in the consistent card draw from the hero power allowing for 2 card plays every turn. Try building Zoo with any other class and you're short minions or cards or both (using the same minions and distribution curve).
How do you nerf that other then to increase the damage taken from the hero power? nerfing the cards wouldn't help anything...
As others have said, more likely they'll be creating AOE spells and combos that allow for big creatures early (if left unaddressed for a turn). You can already see this happening in the 5 Naxx cards they've shown us.
If you nerf Zoo, what are those of us who don't spend money on this game going to play? For people who aren't wallet warriors, we are pigeon-holed into playing Zoo or Huntard aggro if we want to try and get legendary.
They should reduce the price of crafting "old" legendaries when Naxx comes out so some of us can get caught up to the meta game. I absolutely despise playing zoo/hunter but I have no choice, unless I want to play an underperforming deck and hope I queue against it's counter.

Come on that isn't even fair to say! ALOT of people haven't spent any money on Hearthstone and have flourishing card collections. The fact that you are saying since because you didn't pay for anything you HAVE to play zoo or huntard, that is completely one-sided.. I am telling you, ALOT of people haven't purchased any kind of in-game ANYTHING and have many decks to play with. Why can't you disenchant cards you don't want/need and make the ones you do, like the rest of us? doesn't mean you are forced to play certain decks...c'mon

also, to be honest, i have spent money on hearthstone and i still lack doomguards for the deck so what are you even implying? stop.

I have de'd enough to where I couldn't play 2 of the classes because I de'd all their cards. Unless you have been playing since beta consistently, you won't have the cards to play anything other than the budget decks that compete (zoo/hunter). I played beta, stopped for a few months, started playing again a couple weeks ago.
I guess all these guys I'm going up agaist with 4+ legendaries in their deck all earned them through amazing arena play and great luck?
You cut one head, two more will take its place ..... Hail ZOO! Nah, but really just get used to the fact that Zoo is here to stay. I agree it is boring to see because everyone is running it, I want to see more cards, more archetypes and different variations.

your argument is null dude, i'm sorry, the thread is about the absurdness of the zoo list, not the fact that you can't craft your own cards. ive put money into the game and i still don't have the cards that are friendly to the list.. so since you havent spent any money, you MUST play it or hunter? no im sorry, there are many free-to-play decks that actually do require some skill and though process to play. (mage, paladin, etc.. there are lots..)
Contrary to popular belief, playing aggro and even Hyper aggro like Cycle Hunter, requires skill. It is not just mindless aggression, speciallly in the case of Zoo Warlock, you have to know when to trade and when to make the opponent make the trades for you.

To answer your question: Get used to it, they're probably not going to do any nerfs / buffs untill naxx.

Yeah front page says
Now that the game is out of beta, it's better to give players new tools to deal with certain cards rather than adjusting existing cards.
So hope some of those 30 cards will help vs rush.
Not sure if hyped yet.

Honestly think Naxx is gonna buff Zoo...

Or, more likely, come out with a new 2/4 taunt which is not a beast.
