I mean, I miss to play the deck, not the 2 charging 20 attack Frothing Berserkers. The fact that the deck was very damn challenging and you had to think twice if you wanted to do the optimal.
Pros stopped playing it i ntournaments because it's no longer anti-control (well they don't because it's not obscenely OP) and tournaments are heavy on control decks. Ladder likes their FOTM and that's Secret paladin.
But current patron rocks aggro and fast decks. It's now a Tempo deck. Also rocks druid and paladin in general. It's still VERY viable.

Yes, I do understand that the deck still exists but I think that even though the deck its called Patron Warrior, it's not Patron Warrior anymore. The deck was very consistent against pretty much everything and it could bring down every single class without a problem. I miss the feel that the original patron warrior gave. It was challenging to try to bypass a belcher while aiming for letal. Just go and watch trump's video about it.

TBH, that kind of deck shouldn't exist in the first place.
Well Orange was basically saying it is a Tier 1 deck along with Aggro Shaman, Aggro Druid, and Oil Rogue. He even thinks it is stronger than Secret Paladin. Actually he put both Paladin decks in Tier 2.
Crazy right? Post-nerf Patron Warrior is stronger than pre-nerf Secret Paladin? Better believe it. There is a reason why Patron was #1 basically from inception til nerf, and also why pros called for nerfs of Patron but are just annoyed with Paladin.
Now, not everyone is going to agree. But I would say Patron is far from dead.

Actually I think now you can call the deck Patron Warrior. Before the nerf the name should have been frothing warrior as it was the main card in the deck. Now you actually need the patrons to win.
Well, since Blizzard has a "zero buff" mentality, you can let Warsong Commander rot on a heap with Starving Buzzard and all the other cards they basically destroyed and removed from the game instead of trying to make it balanced.
Yup... so true...
such simple adjustments would balance these.
Make buzzard a 5 mana 3/3 so it at least has "stats" comparable to other 5 drops sometimes played (Healbot, Ramwrangler, Patron Warrior) Geez.
Well, we can all think of better ways to balance than Blizz.
And OP, I kind of miss it because I used to farm them with priest. 2 lightbombs clears the patron waves (velens+HNova as back up), and after the patrons are gone, the game is/was much harder for them to win. Plus, it was a fun deck to play against.
Patron warrior was the deck that made me lose interest in tournaments. Everyone was basically brought the same decks and I could not stand watching yet another patron mirror. It was boring as hell.
On ladder the deck was not as popular, but still I got salty every time I met one, even if I could beat it easily. I physically hated that deck after a while...

Except classic/demon handlock sees next to no play atm, because Reno version just being plain better vs aggro, and new p8ron vs Reno is a whole other story.

No I do not miss it at all the way it used to be. You said "not the 2 charging 20 attack Frothing Berserkers" but that's exactly the main difference between old patron and current. If you're going to disregard that, you might as well disregard the whole deck because it become more focused around that OTK aspect than anything else, which is why it got removed from the game. The interaction between Warsong and buffed minions was a bag of dicks.

I miss Patron too. I rarely played the deck because it felt like a lot of work to play right, but it was quite the rush when it went off. Pile it on. Lol

This.
I watched that video on Value Town and I totally agree.
What? Thank god it's gone. You realise that Patron would still be dominant if it wasn't for the nerf? The new decks brought by Loe do not beat paton warrior, so there would be no meta change. Reno decks don't apply enough pressure to beat patron. I was thinking more along the lines of 'is anyone glad patron is gone?'

No, I don't miss it. It made tournaments extremely boring, making almost any deck that could not counter or at least play 50/50 versus patron close to completely unviable.
I guess I indirectly miss handlock and CW being more viable in constructed, but I don't think I can let that excuse that decks existence.

Well, I do...

I really miss that and the goddamn whirlwind effects on a full board to trigger the Acolyte of Pain, Grim Patron, Armorsmith, Battle Rage and of course... the two charging Frothing Berserkers.
Anyways, let me know what you think in the comments...
You don't realize that the deck still exists?

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
No

The Patron Warrior deck still exists, but it isn't nearly as fun or as effective or as reliable as the original. I miss it too.
Ahhh the good ol' days...

Let The old patron rot in hell.May that BS deck never see The light of day ever again!
The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

This matchup is not quite as one-sided though.
