This really, honestly is a salt thread. OP has no evidence that the deck is too strong. He has obviously never heard of aggro mage, or face hunter, or mech shaman. Just pointless salt regarding a deck that is super ultra hyped in the meta.
Lmao the majority of people on this post are complaining about doomhammer and burst but those have been in the game since day one... SMH leave shaman alone
I'm not salty.. But I agree, it's too strong atm. The thing with facehunters is that, you can counter it with reno. Around 10-12 health is the danger zone against facehunter, so you play reno or other heals and you're safe. Aggro shaman tho.. it's around 20 health without minions on the board. Yes Ooze can sort of counter it, but they have 2 Doomhammers and other burn spells. There are tons of taunts and heals to counter facehunter but there are ONLY 2 non-class cards that can counter weapons such as Doomhammer, Ooze and harrison. And I guess it's never been a problem before because burn aggro-shaman wasn't around before but.. 16 damage by 1 card, potentially 20+ damage by 2 Cards is just insane and imo should even be in the game.
Note: Not saying anything needs a nerf atm. The deck is new, lets give it some time before using extreme measures.
You can counter aggro Shaman with Reno... I've lost to it many times.
If you play taunts, the Shaman is forced to use their burn on them (as they have MAX 2 Earth Shock for silence) and then that's damage not going face. Slows the game down enough to use Reno effectively. The games I've closed out the fastest are those with not many taunts on the opponent's side (go figure).
Lmao the majority of people on this post are complaining about doomhammer and burst but those have been in the game since day one... SMH leave shaman alone
Yes but only recently Shaman got the cards it needed to make it all synergy so well. This kind of a burst shaman/doomhammer deck has provably been around for a while, some rare people playing it, not really a popular and as consistent deck. The problem with this shaman deck is not that the new cards are OP, but rather new cards making old cards/combos way better than they should be.
i just Harrisoned a doomhammer for +8 cards (god knows why he didn't take out the first half of my damaged belcher with it). You can't actually lose after that much card advantage. Probably off topic, but it felt pretty good so I thought I'd share :-D
you can play around it if you add an ooze or harrison plus extra taunts or heals. Its not that much worse then face hunter the only difference is the doomhammer which is very overpowered with rockbiter. Leave shamans alone they have been in the dumpster for like forever,

so what about if shaman auto won turn 1? is the reasoning behind that being okay REALLY that they were in the dumpster so long that its only fair?
1) this deck is potentially much worse than facehunter. Generally if you've cleared the board and dropped an antique healbot/taunt getting back to 12-15 health puts you back to safety against hunters, but not against this one. Double crackle + lava burst/whatever can easily kill you even with 20 hp and behind taunts.
2) yes it's true that shamans haven't had anything for a long time. is giving them a new cancer deck which is absolutely no fun to play against the solution? no.
3) the deck itself is not OP as one who lost against it may think (draw spells first and minions later = you lose) but it's still very random and unfun to play with and against.
4) in short, **** this deck. Shamans need something that values their class, not saying "screw you Thrall" and dropping FInley to get a better hero power, or ending the game asap so that all our terrible minions can be avoided.

When you dump something down the toilet it disappears while still existing in the sewers. Welcome to Wild mode, "it's not like they took our cards away".
How is this even a thread? And about the first post - the only way to win on turn 3 is the Kripparian Prophecy. If you manage to lose on turn 4 against any deck, your deckbuilding is much too greedy or you had an insanely terrible draw, end of story.
Uh...no. If the deck has the coin, it can EASILY kill you by turn 5 even if you have a decent draw. Trogg->Golem->Coin+Feral Spirit and you're dead. Same goes for Trogg+coin trogg->Golem. People talk about teaching in Harrison, ya congrats. You destroyed his doomhammer on turn 5 while you're at 12 HP. Next turn lava shock+Crackle+Crackle and you're dead from an empty board while the opponent started with 4 useable mana. You Reno on turn 6? Cute, lava shock+crackle+2Xrockbiter can be played and do 26 damage on TURN 6 from an empty board.
Face Shaman is not even that good TBH. Bunch of people are playing it only because it's rate as T1 in TempoStorm's meta snapshot, which is often incredibly inaccurate IMO for anything that's not obvious. I mean it does a good job "predicting" obvious T1's like Secret Paladin and Patron Warrior, but nothing else. I barely see any (2 in 112) face Shaman above rank 5.
Also you guys saying it's not good, you clearly aren't playing against players who are good at managing overload/playing Shaman. Much like Patron, I'm sure you're seeing a ton of people playing the deck poorly from rank 20-10. Rank 5-legend, the deck has overtaken secret paladin in popularity and runs over most other decks.
It's interesting reading the complaints of this deck getting the God draws. First of all you have to consider, how likely it is that your opponent is holding double crackle and double lava burst? Frankly that's rather unlikely when the deck runs very few card draw.
Also, just like every aggro deck if you draw the wrong half of the deck, you lose.
The only way you can argue that the deck needs a nerf is when you see every tournament player bring the deck or set out to counter that deck (just like patron)
“Agro shaman is not that good” It's better than Face hunter is, so yes it's very good and tech-ing against it is hard because it is so fast that you often do not have enough tempo to do so. Indeed, if you play control, against this deck you'll often need to counter his current turn and his next turn. You can't say: “Hey! nice! i've Harrisoned his Doomhammer i made a lot of value i'm safe!" Value is quite irrelevant when this kind of deck is concerned.
Problem with this deck is:
Blizzard thought to make midrange shaman competitive, he failed, giving birth to an other retarded deck that does not please Shaman players but sociopath farmers that played face hunter and stuff before. Sonostop saying that this is a Shaman deck, they even playSir Finley Mrrggltonin order to make it a hunter bis.
Also, stop saying “Blizzard does not nerf agro”. It's stupid.
1. Who are you to say that? Do you know what Blizzard's staff is thinking right now? Is something that did not happen in the past impossible in the future? No & no.
2. Agro is harder to nerf because is relies on a lot of cards.
About the tournament argument. When it comes to the extreme majority of the players, which does not play high level tournaments, things are different than they are in these tournaments (average skill, obviously, metagame, purpose of playing (professional? enjoyment?). It's not because a deck is not as OP as Patron or Secret P. are that it is not a good idea to re-equilibrate it in order to allow more decks in the metagame, for instance.
I hate to say this over and over again, but something tells me the same people who complain over and over about wolfriders and damage spells flying at their face are the same ones that cried for patron warrior to be nerfed before it did.

Right...because shaman class cards have NO impact in this deck, it's just b/c sir finley removes the shaman hero power......

Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
Golden Heroes: Druid -> Rogue -> Shaman -> Hunter -> Warlock
I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.

It's okay. Nobody played Shaman, now everybody is playing Shaman. It's the same as the Paladin.

When i'm playing against agroo shamy usualy I drop a Antique Healbot/Loatheb and then he concedes...
