Went from Rank 5, 0 stars to Rank 4 , 3 stars without a loss. I'm actually surprised that this deck does so well. If I had time i would probably try to reach legend with it for the first time. But maybe some of you guys want to try it out.
The plan is basically stall the game forever by playing as little cards as possible and then let the monkey finish the game for you :)
I played CW and Renolock to reach rank 5. I was stuck there for a while. CW didn't work because of all the paladins and druids. Yesterday I switched to secret paladin and got to legend rank in a few hours. I guess I was pretty lucky.
I've actually had some time to myself lately so decided to try and reach legend. I got to rank 3 one season but ran out of time. I believe I could reach it for my first time ever :) Reached rank 5 with Midrange Hunter (forgive me lol) But now I am just facing a barrage of secret pally and face shaman. I read this thread and it seems that an ok solution for those decks would be the Taunt Ramp Druid or possibly Golden Monkey Warrior. I've been messing around with Renolock as well but I would really enjoy a deck geared around Secret Pally and Face Shaman since I honestly face that 80% or more for now anyhow :) I love playing different decks.

I reached rank 3 like a week ago with Midrange Druid (16-4). Haven't played since (crapy conection :/ ) and didn't face that many Shamans, but before that rank i faced A LOT of secret pallys and shamans. I had a really eeeasy time vs Secret Pally using a Mech Mage. And the match vs Face Shaman was favored as well. Don't have the data but for me it worked pretty nice. You might try a Mech Mage deck c:
I made it to legend on friday. Played my Control Warrior to Rank 3. From there on it was not possible to move on. After 2 days i switched to secret pala and made it to Legend in 2 hours. I think secret Pala is by far the strongest deck atm, again!
so did anyone actually make it without playing druid/pala or warlock?
Not me. Just had a repeat of last week. Went up to 6, dropped immediately back to 12 after losing about 10 games in a row. Sprint REALLY loves being in my opening hand without Preparation.
I'm currently at rank 5 trying to get legend for the first time using Tempo Mage. Last season I made it to rank 2 with Tempo Mage, but quit because of the Unearthed Raptor bug causing me to disconnect. This season I'm having trouble pushing past 5. Should I just tough it out and keep going or should I switch decks?
Well i got Legend Today for the first time with Tempo Mage, the deck seem great to get legend for now,Since u face alot of secret pally and mid range druids
I've been trying to even get to rank 5 and can't seem to make it happen. I can't seem to touch Paladins, no matter the flavor. When they curve out they just have too many difficult to deal with minions that require you to have the answer in hand. I just yo-yo between rank 6 and 9, hitting a wall of pure golden light whenever I try to get beyond that. =/
My confidence on hitting legend now is pretty low. I'm at rank 10 now so magically figuring it out and playing around 200 games at a 60% win rate probably isn't going to happen. I get the feeling what I'm doing wrong is more philosophical than anything; meaning my thought pattern on how to play the game is slightly off.
The big noticeable thing I've lost games from is controlling the board, then when I'm close to lethal ignoring the board giving the opponent that one opportunity to clear mine. Obvious mistakes are way down, now I just need to focus on tactical mistakes that only good players notice.

What spells are you running? I'm tempted to start playing Arcane explosion now which no one seems to run but with so many paladins its a great counter to muster / juggler.
