Renolock is a force to be reckoned with atm, they have so much early game/mid game stalls and heals and arguably the best late game in the game....
What are some tips/tricks/strats you guys use to combat against renolock atm? Imo it will rise to the #1 deck in no time (currently #2 on tempostorm.)
I have been trying my hand at midrange paladin and it seems to be doing quite decent against them, but are there any other classes that fair better against them atm?
Decks like Midrange Paladin are extremely effective because when you have a full board of 3/3 Silver Hand Recruits it doesn't matter if they gain 30 health.
Like you said midrange paladin is pretty good. I trashed every wl as midrange paladin from rank 5 upwards. The Reno heal doesnt do shit if you have such a huge lead.
I´d Imagine that combo druid should do decent as well, but I only really play combo druid to rush to rank 6-4 so it doesnt really say that much.
Midrange Paladin is the best deck to ladder right now in my opinion. Or I just suck with other decks.
How the hell do you maintain board control? I play midrange paladin but renolock has so many taunts, mass removals etc., I don't get to develop my dudes. I always get him to below 10hp whilst controlling the board, then he turns it around by turn 6-7 (how the hell does he always get Reno in that time!?). I win some, maybe even most matchups but not nearly enough for this many renolocks on the ladder right now.
Would it make sense to just focus on his minions? But most of them are massive, like Twilight Drake, and that 2/4 little s**t that spawns imps... This has to be the most annoying cancer deck right now. Not even face Shaman is this annoying.
Midrange paladin vs Renolock is probably Renolock's favor. There is no way pally has the upperhand. Hellfire, Demonwrath and Shadowflame are more than enough to control the board. When they stabilize the board, there is no way to win against Lord Jaraxxus.

This.
Any half-competent Renolock won't let you stack your dudes or throw out his mass-removal before it's worth it. They have more than enough way to deal with your board, even in low-life situation.
Never been in situation when you have a nearly full quartermasterd board and your warlock opponent sit at 5-10 HP, you think you got this but nope * hellfire + reno* or *reno+ shadowflame* and here you go back to square 0, but with a nearly empty hand.
I don't think midrange pally have the upper-hand in this match-up.
The key against Renolock with Midrange Pally is to not overextend. I've used Midrange Pally to climb to Rank 4 this month, and it works very well against Renolock if you play all your cards right and you don't overextend. You want to be applying pressure, just enough pressure where they're forced to board clear, but it's not absolutely devastating for you. Cause remember, the Renolock has limited removal, while you technically have an infinite source of 1/1 tokens.
I also find Justicar Trueheart an MVP against Renolock, the extra token every turn really adds up and makes Quartermaster a much more powerful play.

Oil rogue? Reno players are so greedy. It's a a personality trait I guess ;D. They won't Reno until 10-15 hp. Any decks with serious burst are nice such as before mentioned combo Druid, Malylock and so on...

Warlock also may have infinite source of 6/6.
If you ever get to a point where you find yourself spammed down by Jaraxxas' tokens, then you lost the game a long time ago. If this happens, it means you lost control of the board. As the paladin player, you should be applying enough pressure to where they can only play Jaraxxas as a last resort, at which point winning the game should be pretty easy with a good weapon hit or a good Quartermaster buff.

You mentioned overextending but you can't apply enough pressure without putting a few threats. Having a couple of dudes is not threatening enough.
When I played midrange pally against Renolock, I always felt like I can't put enough pressure. Sometimes you have to Uldaman your own dude or play QM for 2 dudes just to put pressure. These plays don't cut it imo.
They might even run combo version which means 20+ damage. That is also scary for pally.
I played mainly RenoLock this season and I struggled against handlock, midrange paladin and sometimes aggro shaman. But only aggro shaman if they have a good opener and I have a bad one.

Play aggro shaman, kill before turn 6 Kappa
RNG love me Kappa

An 'easy' way is one most people hate aggro Rogue with Beneath the Grounds.
3 words... double combo druid :D
Hearthstone...I play that.
Music...I make that.
Youtube...I have that.

Midrange Paladin crushes it because it doesn't matter what their health total is once you get a hold of the board. You'll kill them eventually.
