One time I was playing a fun version of oil rogue. Turn 1 prep -> burgle. I got sacrificial pact and bane of doom. Turn 3 kill his imp gang boss, turn six bane of doom his minion (I forget which) and I get mal'ganis.
This season I didn't want to play ranked much but 2 days ago I started trying to rank up from rank 18 to 10 so I would get a decent chest. After only 21 games I managed to do the trick. Turns out tempo mage is pretty sick in this meta. I only lost 3 times: against a priest just because it's an horrible match-up, against a secret pally and against a zoolock because I had the doctor and Antonidas in my opening hand. Other secret pally's, aggro shamans, aggro druids and hunters got completely recked. Generally I don't like playing aggro but I have to say tempo mage is the most fun of all aggro decks.
back in the days when tgt was just out, I didnt have justicar for my cw.
i played against another cw, with early justicar, but because i used my removal very effictevely, at fatigue, i had an execute and shieldslam lfet, he had litterally nothing, and I still won, even tho i didnt have justicar. it feels so fucking good when u win one of the hardest matchups when u are clearly in disadventage....
another game, against a priest, (i had justicar in that game fortunately), everything went wrong. he stole my ysera with (topdecked) shrinkmeister cabal, i brawled, his ysera lived, and ofcourse the dreamcard i got was dream. turned out he also was running a mindcontrol, so I couldnt win the value game. in the end the priest had 3 cards, 1 sw death, 1 pw shield, and another unknown card, but he had loatheb on board. the only thing i had left, was a deathsbite at 1 charge, and a gromm in hand. the priest kept healing himself with his heropower, taking more and more fatigue, i wasnt ahead in fatigue , but i had to take an aditional 5 damage to the face every single turn. then the stars aligned finally, the priest being at exactly 21 hp, 7 turns into fatigue, so I had exact lethal (wouldve survived 2/3 turns more anyways). that was the best feeling ever, being fucked on rng in any possible way, meeting the heaviest of control priests, and winning in the end with the classic gromm.
the last season before tgt, I was at rank 7 and just couldnt get to rank 5 for the better chest.
I had only 2 hours time before the seasons would reset, my (awesome ) feign death midrange hunter, didnt work anymore, cause everyone was playing patron and face huntard, sometimes a midrange hunter. then i felt like, f this shit, i gotta bring something unexpected that can absolutely destroy facetard, and the cw's and patrons trying to counter them . then i started playing a majordomo grinder mage, i destroyed eveyrthing (majordomo is so fucking good against cw), duplicating all the heals against aggro, duplicating emperor and ragnoros against cw (and ofcourse patron) and in the end, i got to rank 5 just in time. best feeling ever in ranked.
Playing against a Renolock as a midrange pally. I get him down to 7 health and he starts BMing me like crazy and plays Reno. Of course I'm salty at this point, but about 5 turns later he runs out of cards and I Equality, Consecration his board. He instantly conceded. :)
Just today I'm playing Reno Paladin against a Deathrattle Shaman. I've got Tirion Fordring on the board with a token and a Haunted Creeper. He plays Sylvanas Windrunner followed by Reincarnate and steals the token. I breathe out a sigh of relief when, suddenly, Reincarnate again. This time he steals the creeper.
"Oh look, the Warrior quest...I've not played CW for a while...I'll try something wild, replacing a couple of fat legendaries for 2x Shredders, I reckon there's too much early game aggression right now".
I go 5-0 facing mostly face Shaman. Then I decide to queue up once again and I end up with a Pally, dang.
I play first and I don't have any weapon. His curve is: Juggler - Muster - Shredder, that I answer with Slam, Revenge and a freshly drawn Waraxe.
On turn 5 he plays Murloc Knight, Coin, Hero power -> spawns another Murloc Knight.
On my turn 6 I have the options of playing Sylvanas or Brawl + kill anything that survives (I still have Waraxe in play and Execute in hand). I play Sylvanas and pass.
My opponent hero powers again and summons another Murloc Knight and a random Murloc that I can't remember, and he starts spamming "THANKS THANKS THANKS" over and over. I squelch him.
I go face with Sylvanas, Brawl, get a Murloc Knight and hero power (summoning a crappy 2/1).
He had to spend his turn 7 clearing my board, and on turn 8 I got the board with Shredder + Armorsmith.
He tried to get back in the game for a few more turns, but the best he could do was to kill a Belcher while Justicar was pounding him for 6 a turn.
Just today, playing a late-game Spell Mage deck against typical Tempo Mage. He plays the E-Sportal and gets Tirion (of course), I use hero power with Saraad on board and get... well, you can see it in my hand :)

Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
Won a game as Murloc Paladin against a tempo game where they were at 10 mana and double Fireballed me but instead of killing me decided to Frostbolt a minion, somehow thinking they had 2 more mana to ping face. I cleared their board with Wild PyromancerEquality and played Antique Healbot and then managed to stall with double Lay on Hands until I killed them over two turns with two Anyfin Can Happen.

Needless to say, he conceded

You know, I complain a lot about aggro decks, and while I like control, I usually only like it in mirror.
But midrange is the bomb!! I LOOOVE playing it and don't mind playing against it one bit. Midrange hunter and paladin are awesome.
Arena Draft: Crappy Legendarys -> Cho, Stalagg and Blingtron, choosing Blingtron. Next draft, Harrison Jones. Value!

Got a Sneed's Old Shredder from a Museum Curator. Then that Sneed's Old Shredder died and gave me another Sneed's Old Shredder. Then I played Confessor Paletress and healed myself which summoned another Confessor Paletress. In the same game.

I'm kicking ass in casual with this hobgoblin deck. Most fun I've had with warrior in months!
Look at you guys, all cute and happy in here. Makes me proud.
Keep it up!
