My feel good moment for today is that the average aggro player is literally too dumb to take a shit. I was playing quest warlock auctioneered on my turn into 6 draw leaving the opponent at 5 HP and me at 30 with 6 armor. Opponent, of course playing the pre-expansion elemental shaman would take 8 damage on my next turn. Instead of trying to do the face damage or just conceding, he was still trading my auctioneer and playing a taunt to block my other minions hoping that he could still win :D
Hilariously, I was playing against Quest Mage and then won because they milled themselves with Solarian Prime, which somehow decided to play, in this order, Cram Session, Arcane Intellect, another Cram Session, Primordial Studies, and then Cone of Cold. Felt good for me, but I'm sure that person will never play Solarian again.
Got to Legend for the first time today. Even beating a Spell Druid who roped every turn. Then when I got the upper hand he roped until the very end of the rope before conceding. Prick. Ahh well, thanks for the easy win and Legend. ☺️
I know it's only a casual game while testing a deck + a warlock player who thinks it's an autowin (most of the time it really is) vs a poor priest control player and no need to pay attention with his moves, but still feels really good. ;]
The early days of this expansion I was feeling very negative, but the last few days, perhaps because of the patch, I've enjoyed a wide variety of decks in almost every class, including the first ever priest deck I've enjoyed in Quest Priest.
