I have had decent fortune with opening packs.. only opened whatever I got from quests and had enough gold for 4 packs as I barely played during KOTF... first pack legendary (useless recruit one, but a legendary nonetheless- 9 mana for 5/5 with 3 recruited minions. Couldn't tell or care about who it is). Also unpacked at least 2 epics in those 10ish packs. Felt pretty good compared to my normal odds. I guess as the meta unfolds, I'll decide if I want to put more effort/time into more packs or not. Only dungeon run is feeling fun to me at this point (wasn't a big fan of pvp with the dumb emoting/BMing and I only really played rank 25-15-> didn't have the time to play more than 30 games a month.
Out of the 58 K&C packs I opened (none of which were bought with real money) I pulled the greatest number of legendaries at the start of an expansion launch than what I've managed before.
3rd pack - King Togwoggle
18th pack - Sonya Shadowdancer
37th pack - Master Oakheart
49th pack - Golden Lynessa & Non-golden Kingsbane
That's about 1 legendary for every 11 packs. Out of all my pack openings from vanilla HS til now that is also the first pack I've opened that had double legendaries & the Lynessa pull was my 3rd golden legendary from a pack between vanilla and now (a big upgrade from my last one which was Sargeant Sally)
My HS play has dwindled greatly, and I was about to just quit the game altogether... and today I pulled a Golden Tirion Fordring who I have wanted for forever now...
Funny how none of the main Pally lists are playing him ATM.. sigh.
Facing off against Rogue with on his T1: coining into Keleseth, shadowstep and following through with Southsea - Patches combo in his T3...
I enjoyed feeling his frustration by spellstoning his Vilespine later on, having both of my Voidlords pulled by my Legendary weapon. Following it up, after Voidlords being cleared/traded, to have my Master Oakhart summon some more taunt wall, to see more frustration from him while making subpar trades in order to clear my wall.......only to follow it up with my DK summoning it all back in his face.
One could actually feel the utter frustration through his concede.
I was playing against this Astral Tiger Druid and I had that many eggs on the board. Then it all came down to my Crystalline Oracles from N'Zoth, the Corruptor to get Astral Tigers for myself, so the game kept on and on, but I had those eggs as edge. It was a weird game.
Playing evolve token shaman against razakus priest. He got his raza out on turn 5. He keep clearing my board almost every turn like priests usually do. Then on turn 10 he cleared my evolved doppelgangster with dragon fire potion then play priest of feast on an empty board. With only 4 cards left in hand (devolve, 2xmaelstrom portal and evolve) everything seem hopeless and i'm about to concede.
I played devolve out of desperation and Priest of the Feast turn into Howlfiend!!! I played Maelstrom Portal and manage to discard his anduin. That guy already have him the whole time!
Next turn I top deck another doppelgangster, evolve them and smash him dead. Best game ever :D
Frustrated with hitting a small losing streak when working up to 15 in wild, I switch to my random Secret Tempo Yogg Mage. Faced this shaman who was I wasn't doing too bad against (ele shammy), until we get to the late game where he has taken back board control and is threatening lethal on board next turn.
No better time to praise yogg! Lots of spell hilarity ensues, including a perfectly intact CotW, a Blizzard to freeze the shammy's board, hunter and mage secret (including an Ice Block), and Mind Games to pull a Rag from his deck. Meanwhile, Yogg survives all of this.
Just hit legend for the first time since I started playing in Naxx. Made it to 5 and beyond many times but never had the time or drive to go all the way. Had an insane streak from 2-L and went like 14-1. Had to beat the same guy twice to get it with an iffy matchup, but my Spiteful Summoner pulled a Tyrantus out and I was able to punch through. Feels really great and now that the pressure is off I'll be able to have fun and enjoy laddering again. If i can do it anyone can trust me guys!
I lost to a guy playing Jade Druid so I added him for a rematch. He played Quest Mage and I played a control lock. I Gnomeferatu'd his Archmage on turn 2. He instantly conceded.

GOOD VIBES!
2 Legendaries (one golden) + 1 rare in one pack!!!!
Paladin in Dungeon Run
Upgraded Hero Power - costs 1 and summons two 1/1s
Minions have +1/+1
1 mana summon two 2/2s
pretty good imo

Druid is so OP! Turn 4 lethal vs big priest!
This literally was the only scenario that could have led to me winning. Him playing Living Mana. Waddya know..
I came
(It was a topdeck btw)
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
Best moment of latest boss in dungeon run :)
Invisibility cloak + random legendary from chest reward :)
I was told Warrior was the hardest class and that I shouldn't go for the Quest.
