I have been struggling with my control warlock deck, whole damn day. I wanted to defeat MC Lichy Smalls with 'lock first. And after 6 or 7 defeats, I created no duplicate zoo with Prince Keleseth on top. After a first loss (I wanted to see how this deck is played best and what cards I need) I DESTROYED HIM. His hp was -10 when I finished beating the crap outta him. And it felt good. Most satisfying victory I ever had.
playing against quest mage, choose dirty rat from discover of stonehill defender for obvious reasons. he plays second frost nova doomsayer on my decently sized board and i have no answer, so i play the rat. "You require my assistance?" into concede gotta love it
That feeling when OP Jade Druid doesn't get early draw, you can pop your Vicious Fledgling without death and Razormaw on next turn. They quit, hopefully raging about you, friend you just to say PERFECT MANA CURVE...
One of the most pleasureful victories I had in my entire HS career. I was playing a Dragon Paladin in wild and there was this Reno/Kazakus/DK Priest spamming emotes all around.
Long story short, my Bone Drake gave me a Nefarian which promptly gave me Circle of Healing. A few turns after, Priest drops both Acolyte of Pain and Northshire Cleric on a board with a few of my dragons, Stonehill Defender, and a paladin token. Now, it's not always the best move, but I really like burning my opponent's card or two whenever I can, so I made sure I did that by attacking a few times into his Acolyte and then played Circle of Healing. This, along with his regular card draw, burned his DK, Prophet Velen, and Obsidian Statue. He conceded few seconds after that.
A day full of awful priests, quest mages and jade druids... wich would be terrible if I had'nt beat the shit out of every single one but two priest.
And they were'nt even normal wins. I utterly crushed them. My Dirty Rat pulled Antonidas who then got killed by my Rag Lightlord. I killed a 18/18 Twilight Drake a priest dumped its whole hand by discovering Dark Conviction. I came back from opponent having 10 mana and 4/4 jade golems by turn 5 to crushing it with hordes of fatties and stuff.
And then beat the Lich King with reno rogue on first attempt, killing him with a Frostmourne.
Scrolling through most other threads here just makes me facepalm. I am f2p, have a great shaman and some other decks on hand and easily make it to rank 5 every season. I don't bother about OP cards or decks, I accept them as a challenge, while the meta settles. Therefore it doesn't even matter to me, how hard Blizzard fails with balancing new cards. For me the game couldn't be in a better place. Shout out to the positive minded people in the community. Have fun out there.
Well i've just found out that my overall winrate in ranked play during this expansion is 65%, played Exodia Mage, Miracle Rogue, Jade Druid, Exodia Paladin, DK Warlock and Kazakus DK Mage, i am f2p player and it's really awesome for me ;D, oh and i am rank 5 for the first time :D
Played my Shotgun priest against a Jade Druid. A lucky roll off the Atiesh got me a Grom and Ysera off the Free From Amber. Shadowreapered his board the next turn and when he played Spreading Plague against my board, I topdecked Shadow Word Horror. He plays Malfurion and picks Spiders and drops 2 giant Jade Golems. I played Lyra and Potion of Madness and I got another Potion of madness to clear his board.
Goddamit that was filthy. The guy was a good sport about it though, and friended me to say GG.
