Finally some pepper. I just had a match against one of those many players called warlord. I was so scared, because he tried to pull off his tiller hysteria combo SO HARD. You know, we are post hysteria nerf. So either it was a bot or it is just a proof of the mental state of those players who play those broken combos.
I was playing armor warrior on the wild ladder and came up against a murloc quest shaman. We were evenly matched on the board for the first half of the game, but I was steadily gaining armor. Eventually he started to overtake the board after playing Megafin to refill his hand and drawing his murloc prime. At that point I was top decking with few outs. I was lucky enough to pull the legendary I built the deck around, Geosculptor Yip. At the end of your turn, he summons a random minion with cost equal to your armor. He summoned a scrapyard colossus. This was also when I had the most armor, 28 health + 83 armor = 111 combined health, unbeatable right?
The opponent got lucky and pulled a bloodlust from Hagatha’s hero power enabling him to clear the board. From then on the only out I had was fatigue. He had a full board to attack with each turn, but started fatigue earlier than me and with less health. In the end, fatigue damage was 1 point short in finishing him off before he removed all my armor and won the game.
Damn, that was one of the most satisfying matches of Hearthstone I've ever played, well, in the end at least. Was playing my Zoolock against a Big Priest. As I noticed him roping from the beginning (what is wrong with the lives of such people?), I started roping myself. I would never do this intentionally in any other circumstance. So we were both roping every single turn. (I would have stopped if he had.) The match lasted for 10 turns in literally 24 minutes. In the meantime he was probably also spamming emotes, judging by his cursor, but I usually mute my opponents right in the beginning. Then I finally killed him with spot on lethal.
Apparently, good things keep happening to me today. Just hit that perfect Turn 1. 10/8 Stats on the board. :D
I've started playing around Knights of the Frozen Throne, and had never made Legend so far. I normally get up to a few wins away from Legend each month, but then fall down all the way to the floor rank, and that's when I usually stop and play other modes. This month, after trying different decks, unsuccessfully, I found myself at D5 again and decided to grind some achievements instead trying and failing to get legend again. So I picked the "Summon X Darkmoon Treants" and built a deck around that, and that's the one that finally pushed me all the way up the hill for the first time. Here's what the deck looked like after some tinkering when I finally hit Legend.
Playing priest against otk dh in standard. Before my mulligan, my hand is palm reading and insight, my universal keep, and two late game minions. I toss the minions in hope for a 5 mana guy, and get... mass res and renew. Well fuck, I think. At least insight will draw something. I break my normal rule and play renew without a target to heal and get a second palm reading, and turn 4 I draw another one. Insight grabs a'lar from my deck and I shit you not, I get 2 more mass res and a grave rune from palm reading. Turn 7 and I had 5 a'lars and he was burning all his life steal to stay alive. Can't see why people hate res priest! XD
I don't usually play Mage because I dislike the class, but when I do I make my own control deck. Control Mage has been exceeding my expectations by far, it is great that Mage got Armour Vendor for life gain, stack them with Ice Barriers and from The Corrupt Secret card you can potentially get tons of armour. I've got great matchups against most aggro and because I have C'thun I can win most control matchups too (besides Warlock ofc) BTW if you aren't playing x2 weapon removal then you should. Nearly every class is running weapons and Bomb Warrior is a control killer so if you are playing control ALWAYSgo double stickyfinger. This deck destroys Murloc Paladin! It's been working out great for me.
I have just hit the legend second time in row after 1.5 years of inactivity.
Ress Priest is way to go this month. With the flood of braindead Rogues, braindead token druids, netdeck Paladins and me go face Hunters it was smooth ride from rank 5 to legend (I had like 2 losses).
Y'know... it's not often my deck seems to hard counter my opponent, but when it does, it just feels great.
I decided to take my token DH deck for a spin last night, included in it are two Consume Magics and two Chaos Novas.
Run into cheese paladin. As one does. I can see the Nozdormu the Timeless a mile away. He plays it, I clear it. Following turn is Tip the Scales, clear it.
Now he's dropping his big boi Scrapyard Colossus. Consume Magic and clear it. All while pushing face damage with remaining tokens. Bet you wish you played pure paladin and had consecration now, huh?
Having 10 mana is great. Thank you, sir.
Additionally, playing against aggro weapon rogue later on in the night. It's amazing what Knife Juggler and Fel Guardians can do against their aggression. Ping out their stealth and hide behind little taunts. Swing that big sword into them, yes please. :)
After one too many times of getting Aviana and Kun in my hand in the first 2 turns without any ramp (4 games in a row or something, ugh), I decided to ditch wild ladder and go have fun at someone's expense in standard, since I hadn't played a tickatus in forever. Found pretty much the perfect target, a ridiculously greedy quest highlander galakrond c'thun priest...I was just going to play one tickatus, until they used the nameless one to silence my rustwix, at which point the felosophy and the additional tickatus found with twisted knowledge burned all of the primes he had (including his own prime because of course he ran that too), 2 c'thun cards, zeph and galakrond, amongst other cards. A pity "your opponent left" appeared before I could smash down the Jaraxxus I'd found with the second copy of twisted knowledge. That certainly left me in a good mood, thanks again dear priest fella.
Got to fight this ressurect priest, but i decided to not play his game :) I refused to kill his minions and used other removals like Shadow Hunter Vol'jin and Entomb. Thanks to a Mass Dispel i was also able to ignore a lot of taunts and healing minions, it was so fun!
Probably the most satisfying moment of playing hearthstone for me is beating secret mage with mill rogue. Just play a bunch of armor vendors and get out of lethal range for a bunch of turns and it’s just amazing. I hate playing against secret mage, but man is beating them heavenly.

I had a blast playing this match, thanks Lavey!
I just won a game of 20 turns of Hearthstone I like.
Almost ten Murozond the Infinite, two times Our Savior Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate, opponent's unlucky Mindrender Illucia - because I snatched/played his The Coin and Maw of C'Thun - and all of this with my homebrew wonky fringe Standard deck. 23 minutes of awesomeness, ups and downs "just" to get this legendary "Play 5 games of Standard Ranked" quest done.

I have been loving playing wild recently. I only meet really fun decks and always have a good match. One guy even friend requested me after saying gg!
Despite all of the problems with the game, Hearthstone still manages to put a huge smile on my face.
Just had an amazing comeback in arena. From 1 vs. 28 health to victory in two turns.
But I have to give respect to my opponent for a well-placed Oh my Yogg. Was so mad when my Fan of Knives didn't kill his board of 1/1s.

In my lunchtime I did an unbelievable thing: I killed scummy Secret Mage with my homebrew Quest-Cho-4giants Mage deck.
Soooo rewarding!

This is what priests should do not resurrect lol. Most pleasant feeling.

Ever wanted to play a fun control deck that doesn't get shit on by Tickatus? run Highlander Druid. Your welcome.
P.S run the Guardian Animals package. I've tested it extensively and it's solid. Make sure you also put in a Broom.
Wrecking a quest hunter with deck of lunacy.
Finally hit legend with rogue!
Yesterday in the morning i made it to legend in wild and in the afernoon 12 wins in duels heroic :D
The only sad part was i had to switch deck for legend since i couldnt make the last 2 stars with my own shaman deck :(
