So I was experimenting with Galakrond Rogue (full Invoke package) and with Whelps, but inspired by a Mage video where I saw a guy playing Ancient Mysteries with a Transmogrifier on board and you get a free legendary.
So I added the card (and Tess) to the deck in place of Edwin and Flik (none of which I have). I tested against the Innkeeper and it actually works.
Since Rogue runs a lot of cheap stuff, it feels really bad to draw them with a fully invoked Galakrond, so I combo'ed it with Transmogrifier for 4 0-cost legendaries.
Against a Rogue that was playing the Anubisath version, I actually got an Azalina from this and won thanks to stealing his hand of absurdly buffed minions and playing them first since I was outtempoing him.
Sometimes, you low roll and have to post in the salt thread. Sometimes you get some nifty plays and get to post here. :-)
Just had a set of games (play until 3 wins) with a more casual Galakrond rogue deck (runs stuff like a single Togwaggle's Scheme to get more Heistbarons/Kronx, and double Hoard for being a half decent card but also potentially space-orbit-rolling by getting Tekahn). Anywho, win 1 was pretty standard, but wins 2 and 3 featured some beautiful Spirit of the Shark + Kronx Dragonhoof interactions.
Win 2: had played fully invoked Galakrond a turn 1 or 2 prior. Had a board of 5 1/1s (some lackeys and some pirates). Opponent on 21 with no minions, I still have one charge left on the claw. He gets rid of one minion and develops some board of his own. On my turn, I play Spirit of the Shark into Kronx, for +4/+4 on my minions and lethal... for 0 mana, mind you, as I hit both those cards off of Galakrond.
Win 3: I pass on one turn, with Galakrond up, a claw charge left, and lethal between board and hand if my opponent can't both clear the board *and* heal. My opponent does just that - game on! On my next turn, I counter clear (as his clear consisted of his own Kronx), and develop a Spirit of the Shark. At 19 health, my opponent has to heal again or they're dead on my next turn - no heal, excellent. Kronx, Decimate, Decimate, Shadowstep, Kronx, Decimate, Decimate. Double Pyroblast for the cost of a single. :-)
I've always loved double battlecry stuff, but it just works so darn well in Galakrond rogue, between lackeys, Kronx, and any other cards that you're including that synergise off it. Even considering dipping my toes into wild for stuff like Brann Bronzebeard, Sonya Shadowdancer and Shadowcaster, but perhaps I shouldn't go overboard with it all. :-P
Well seeing as I'm the last post, I'll just edit this and save clutter. Loving the deck! Galakrond rogue just occasionally gives you some super high rolls, especially if you include Dragon's Hoard (which allows you to get even higher rolls). Latest game:
Hoard one had gotten me Floop (potentially really useful), and Hoard two - which I think I actually got off a spell lackey - got me Shudderwock, one of the highest rolls in this deck (probably as many, if not more battlecries than quest shaman, Shudderwock can repeat Galakrond's battlecry for more 0 cost cards, and between Faceless Corruptor and Barista Lynchen it can potentially go infinite). I play Galakrond, and I hit Faceless Corruptor (to reclaim the board on that turn) and Kronx (hell yeah!). Next turn opponent plays some minions and clears mine. So in response, I get this juicy turn:
Kronx (10 mana remaining) to clear, Floop-Kronx (6 mana remaining) to deal 5 to face, Umbral Skulker (2 mana remaining), Coin+Coin+Coin into Barista Lynchen (0 mana remaining), to give me two more Kronx and another Skulker. Next turn was a very straightforward lethal with Kronx number 3 buffing the 3 minions that survived the opponent's turn.
I've also had a couple of good games with Skulker in this session - it's the reason I first included Spirit of the Shark in the deck, as a 3/3 that 'costs negative mana' (if you have sufficient handspace) is just awesome. Generally, the combo can just enable some high tempo turns that can still leave you with a large hand (things such as play a few cards to get down to 5 in hand, play Skulker for 6 coins, then play cards that have a combo or battlecry to generate cards, such as Novice Engineer, dragon/spell lackey or Evil Miscreant - getting double benefit off the Spirit).
After a long time being happy with just reaching Rank 5 now I felt like I really liked the Galakrond Warlock deck and played it incessantly this last week and ended up just reaching Legend with it in 3 days, starting from rank 4, with a 65% winrate.
Got a winstreak of 6 matches in the final stretch (it was almost freaking 9 wins in a row, and the one who interrupted it was no one other than Trump), including two matches, against the mirror and a Face Hunter, that I won with 1 HP left. The final boss was of course, Galakrond Rogue. He discovered a Dragonqueen, burned my Kronx and Galakrond was my last card and I still managed to win. FeelsGoodMan.
been playing completely randomly generated decks today (no, not with the ingame option) that made pretty much no sense altogether and had some pretty hilarious wins
my opponents must have thought "what the fuck is this guy playing??" and removing stuff very suboptimally because they thought certain minions were important to the strategy. they weren't, at all :) only to be smashed in the face with violet wurms and ogres and stuff ^.^
also played the glorious return of massive spell damage hunter, i call it the inquisition hunter, cuz nobody ever expects that. well, have 20 damage done in one turn out of nowhere :D
I Really like the name inquisition hunter. That should be the official name of a unexpected tech deck or so.
So my favourite deck atm is Galakrond rogue - with Dragon's Hoard. I believe Galakrond rogue is a fairly competitive deck right now, though I have no idea how tier lists of it would be built - I built mine on day 2 or 3, and haven't really changed it much since.
Dragon's Hoard is just so much fun, and while there are some obvious combos you can pull off with the right legendaries, sometimes you get unusual ones that are just awesome - especially if it ends up being a combination of rolls that get you there. In particular, this game I just had, I actually hit an awesome Glinda Crowskin combo - picked her from a hoard as the best pick, plus some synergy with good lackeys. Had a Spirit of the Shark in hand, and ended up getting an Umbral Skulker off of a Wondrous Wand. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play it - I would've had to run down my hand anyway, but I was dominating the game thanks to 2 Colossus of the Moon I had gotten off of Zarog's Crown.
Other combos/synergies I've gotten off of Hoard, or am looking forward to:
* Dark Pharaoh Tekahn - the main reason to run it IMO; if you high roll this your invoke/Galakrond hero power is basically 3 mana for a 4/4 with a good battlecry * Shudderwock - very very good in a deck with a heap of battlecries. Plus, it repeats the Galakrond battlecry, so there's that. * Electra Stormsurge - at worst, doubling rogue spells is pretty decent, but at best she'll double a treasure which is great. * Krag'wa, the Frog - extra treasures is gravy, but beyond that, if you have a Shadowstep you could basically do it once a turn. If you can get some coins into the mix to keep it powered up, even better.
And they're just the really high rolly ones. A lot of other legendary minions are pretty darn good, and I don't know the maths behind it, but Trump claims that when you discover you get the top 25% of cards on average, so it's not like you're flipping a coin or anything. Actually, I can't think of a time that I got a 'bad' legendary - at the worst, I've gotten something that I would run over a Yeti or Ogre, so that's something.
Edit: just had a game with the deck against Albatross priest, which afaik is a pretty casual deck. That said, my opponent drew quite well early; by the about turn 7 or 8 I had heaps of birdos in my deck, though had taken care of both Albatross cards (I assumed they wouldn't run res effects given that they were running other minions, and I didn't want the Albatrosses to get hit by more reborn/deathrattle revival effects).
Dragon's Hoard does it again though. First DH was Shudderwock - very high roll for the deck, and second DH was Prince Liam - to turn all those birdos into random legendaries. A combination of Prince Al'akir to secure the board on one turn, then Cenarius on the next turn to buff my board lead to victory, so I guess they have Prince Liam to thank for that. :-P
I haven't done much arena in the several years I've been playing Hearthstone so I was excited to get my first 12-win arena run. I had no business winning the last game after my opponent played double Twin Tyrant, but luckily he didn't kill my North Sea Kraken and I topdecked a Starfire to finish him off.
He was roping every turn in addition to doing AKF in the first two shifts. This happens to you as an idiot. :)
I accidentally put the shield silencer thinking because I did not put it before until I remembered that it interposed with the spell that draws the lowest cost minion. The best use I have given him with this card was against 3/4 with rebirth.
Just want to give a shout out to my random opponent in casual today who realized I was only playing a quest completion deck the same as him and we just did what we had to do until we had no cards then conceded the game to me when he could have won it if he wanted to.

I know people will hate on this, but I'm very much in love with Face Hunter right now. I've only been playing since November but I managed to climb to rank 5 with relative ease. I would love to try other decks, but HS is too expensive for me atm

8-0 with the deck so far (in Casual) but sadly only combo'ed like twice and Tess never managed to make an appearance.

I'm REALLY loving the new rogue legendary, i swear i could taste the salt from mi seat.
And yes, I've waiting to do this to a Holy Wrath paladin for a looong time.
I just had the best match since the launch of DOD.
Priest cleared my board over and over until I reached fatigue. Yet I still won thanks to my secret weapon.
The draw, the mech tokens, everyhting in this deck synergises so well, I love it!
