Opponent thinks he's safe thanks to his heavily-magnetized Annoy-o-Module against my pogo hoppers.
Luckily I had discovered Betrayal early on meaning I could use his Silver Hand Recruit to get rid of the divine shield and then smash away the module and then smash his face for 23 damage exact lethal.
Pogo-Hoppers might not be tier 1 in strength but by God they are tier 1 in fun!
Just came back to the game after a few month break since Dota Auto Chess was all messed up. Made a wild RNG casino mage with Arcane Giant, Flamewaker and Mana Cyclone to screw around a little. Somehow winstreak to rank 7 wild (obviously) and facing a beast hunter who has me at 6hp on turn 4 with a 10/6 Scavenging Hyena and I have nothing with him at 30hp.
Just the classic Flamewaker + The Coin + Sorcerer's Apprentice shenanigans, clear his board on turn 4, turn 5 he is dead. Drew the Mirror Image to prevent the Huffer + hero power from the only way I die, he of course gets Huffer, but can't break through the 2 taunts to save the game.
As much as I have hated this game over the years, it's little RNG things and the occasional joy I temporarily find that keeps bringing me back.
Beat someone last night who immediately added me to both 1) call my deck trash and, simultaneously, 2) berate me for playing "tier 1 netdecks" in Casual. I WAS playing a trash deck I enjoy (deathrattle control priest) so point one was fine. Their second point is what made the whole thing hilarious because of the aforementioned trash deck being tier 1. That plus the fact that they were playing Token Druid so the irony cracked me up. Don't ever change, garbage people of HS!
Finally beat heroic Dalaran Heist. Despite getting the absolute shit tier treasure Sow the Seeds.
I struggled more with Kalec than I did Khadgar, though that may be because I had Robes of Gaudiness into a turn 4 Dreamgrove Ring into 5 fucking The Beasts. Double Deathrattle anomaly is so unbelievably broken with Priest!
Finally beat Jepetto on heroic with priest. 26 Amara, Warden of Hope with Elixir of Vigor helped to beat this RNG trash. I still could lose, because he had god tier start.
Miracle Druid with two Owls has been doing wonderfully for me in the teen ranks. Haven’t been grinding ladder the last month as I’ve been focused on playing Heist, but it’s a lot of fun to play off meta decks and this one handles all the magnetizing pretty well.
Just played a mech Paladin who drew an amazing curve. Crystology into Galvanizer + Glowtron into Call to Adventure into Glowstone Technician. Played some massive mechs, only for me to drop two owls in the first seven turns while building a board and waiting for my big Auctioneer turn.
After playing a Kangor’s that resurrected unbuffed Mechano-Egg, Gatekeeper and Galvanizer, he conceded. Happy times!
The meta in Standard has become very stale and it's hard to rank up so I have decided to dip my toes into Wild and it's actually been going very well for me. Within 3 hours I went from rank 20 to rank 4 one star playing only my favourite deck-Secret Hunter. Between ranks 20 and 10 there are actually not very many Big Priests around and the meta throughout all the ranks are pretty diverse. There are the top meta decks but I faced a variety of different classes and decks throughout my climb.
Wild has been so much fun for me, I dunno why I wasted my time with standard. Every deck is inherently busted so it all evens out. If you just play your favorite deck from either the past or present with powerful additions most games feel good. Along the way you will run into Big Priests and it will be stressful but if you can just get past that then you will have a good time, trust me there aren't that many of them.
That aside, the deck I've been playing and the only deck I've been playing is Secret Hunter, and I love it. Hunter is my guilty pleasure, it feels good to give your opponent a good SMOrcing. You just play secrets, go face and sit back while your opponent keeps guessing and makes dumb plays.
There is no better feeling than Double Health, Double Health, Equal Attack to Health to.........'BOOM.... in the faaaaaace' on some troll who spams the "amazing" emote the whole match.

Damn yeah. I played two games of silence priest. Two ragequit , one from a mech hunter and one from a control warrior. Feelsgoodman!
Truly Broken (Turn 3 kill khadgar)
7 2-cost Elistra the Immortal (One of them start in hand; 4 of them are 3/3)

Kaladin's RoS Set Review
Join me at Out of Cards!
Control Warrior vs. Conjurer Mage.
He plays Acolyte of Pain. I mill him for 2 cards with Dyn-o-matic, lol.
He plays Astromancer and gets Catrina Muerte, except his only dead minion so far is the Acolyte. Mill him for 2 again, lol.
Volontarily lets Catrina and Astromancer alive so that she brings Acolyte again, mills him for 2 again, lol.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)

Legend with Murloc Shaman!
Not original, but still satisfying.

Just beat a Master's Call Hunter in the tavern brawl with a Gonk Druid. Absolutely hilarious. Would definitely recommend.

I've uninstalled the game and haven't looked back, and I feel great!
