By that point my Togwaggles scheme was loaded to make 14 copies... I copied 14 Shirvallah's and then did Surrender to Madness that I had discovered before. Needless to say, Facing 14 9/7 Shirvallas, the opponent conceded after 2 rounds(he had already played Elysianna and brewmaster on Elysianna)
If you ever see this thread, I hope you have no bad feelings xD
I just had an epic 40-min game against another Control Warrior. I started off hot--I played on curve, shuffled about 4 bombs into his deck, and by turn 7 I had got him down to 18 health while I was still at full health with 17 armor.
Then he plays Blastmaster Boom and fills his board with Boom Bots. I was feeling cocky, so I played Brawl thinking I could take all the damage from those bots. Sure enough, when the smoke cleared, I took 19 damage to the face...except Blastmaster Boom was the last one standing from the brawl. Oh shit. My opponent then plays Dr. Boom, Mad Genius next turn, and the tables flipped from there. He got tremendous value from Omega Assembly, armored up to 10+, while I got down to 15 health after taking a beating from his minions and eating the bombs he shuffled into my deck.
It was looking grim...until he played Archivist Elysiana with 8 more cards left in his deck, which I thought was too soon. I kill his Elysiana with Omega Devastator, then I play my Elysiana a couple of turns later. I got an Arcanite Reaper, Baleful Banker, Proud Defender, Potion Vendor, and Alexstrasza, the latter I thought would be the trump card. My opponent had to get rid of Elysiana, so he summons three microbots and plays Brawl. Only this time, my Elysiana survives!
Momentum shifted to me once again, and we trade back-and-forth going into fatigue. Both of us were nearing death (I had 7 with 2 armor, he had 12 health), and I had 2 Alexstraszas in my deck, which I was sure would be the difference maker in fatigue. When our decks are finally empty, I drop the first of these beautiful dragons down then lean back, sure that he'll die from fatigue soon. He even hits me with a "Well Played," probably knowing the game was over.
Except he was holding two more cards in his hand, and he plays one to reveal...another Archivist Elysiana!!! The lucky bastard's first Elysiana gave him another one, what the hell! I watched my hope melt away as he shuffled more and more cards into his deck. Admitting defeat, I mercifully hit concede. I may have lost, but that was pretty crazy. And fun, I must say.
Is there anything finer than sitting in a sunny, warm back garden listening to Salt n Peppa, drinking a cold cold beer and smashing Token Druid with a Khadgar Dragon Mage?
Big Beast Warrior is a lot of fun! The late-game synergies are fantastic if you can survive the early turns, which isn't that much of a problem with Warrior's control tools (unless you draw really badly).
This opponent of mine had the worst luck over two turns in our Control Warrior mirror matchup. I play Hecklebot, which summons his Archivist Elysiana--a devastating blow since we were nearing fatigue. To make matters worse, he plays The Boom Reaver next turn which summons a copy of...Doomsayer. Moments like these make this game worth playing, I couldn't stop laughing XD
Matched with mech pally, getting shit on pretty bad but luckily i drew all my board clears and they were a greedy asshole like all agro players so i was able to squeeze the game out until fatigue, i was at 7 health i had no more stall cards played my Nozari and had no more Time Out!s left they were at 29 health and i had my last two cards in my deck with both holy wrath cards in hand, was Shirvallah, the Tiger and Hammer of Wrath exactly 29 dmg exactly 10 mana, couldn't shuffle the shirvallah and live another turn since i was dead on board^3
What a great game. The best part was this was the second match against the same guy playing the same deck where they almost beat my and i pulled it out of my ass at the last second shout out to That Guy hahaha
Had another hour-long mirror match with a Control Warrior, and my opponent's Archivist Elysiana discovered another Archivist Elysiana again! What the fuck. Thankfully I was able to kill him next turn, but man, why does this keep happening to me... :/
If you, by any chance, have read my "I have become a monster..." post, skip down to the bottom, as this is a continuation with a silver lining.
I was inspired to mess with Big Priests about a week ago by a player who summoned lots of low-value minions with cards such as Flight Master. I didn't have very many of those cards, so I went with an aggressive lineup featuring Mindgames and Potion of Madness, for use against the 1/1 that Barnes summons. Then, I made a Thief/Big Priest hybrid that also ran Mindgames, but also resurrection cards and Talanji. Yesterday morning, I faced a mostly Big Priest that ran Mindgames. Thinking I might have gotten into a gateway drug, I treated myself to some Old Gods packs with the hopes of getting Yogg-Saron back. Then Y'shaarj came out, and against my better judgement, I invested some dust, and my hybrid deck became a full-on Big Priest, and I will admit to playing some matches with it.
But this morning, I was playing my Zoo version of Renouncelock, and I ended up giving the win to the same Priest player that started it all, out of generosity. Now I'm going to make a deck just like his, with all the summon cards.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
162 ladder wins with Renouncelock and counting! Reno, Zoo, Cube, Even; they all run Renounce Darkness in my lists!
I love it when I queue against a mill rogue with cubelock, it's so satisfying to see them desperately trying to mill you while skull just pulls everything back to the field

Here, Archmage Vargoth sticks on the board so he re-casts Dimensional Ripper. Not as big a board as I'd hoped, but fun to pull off nonetheless.
I'm running a budget-friendly version of this at the moment (I don't have Boomship, Dr Boom, Boom Reaver or Oondasta) but having a LOT of fun when it works out.
If you want a laugh on OTK-ing a warrior with espionage rogue: a gunspire and a dynomatic kill him in one turn wit two lackeys doing the finishing ^^

Myra's Unstable Element + Togwaggle's Scheme on Leeroy Jenkins = fun against control decks
Just played my most meme game ever....Tess Rogue with a mix of Heistbarron Togwaggle, and his scheme , against a control warrior.
He discovered a Weaponized Pinata from the Delivery Drone, then Weaponized Pinata gave him Shirvallah.

The most nutty thing I've ever had happen with my Mechrattle Priest deck.
Got a lackey from EVIL Consciptor, and Heistbaron Togwaggle from Weaponized Pinata. Then Wonderous Wand drew Da Undataka and Shadowy Figure.

Here, The Boom Reaver summons an Oondasta copy, which then summons Akali, the Rhino, which pulls another Oondasta. The next turn, I play the 12/12 Oondasta to kill a Mountain Giant, which then summons an Amani War Bear from my hand. Fun times.

My first game with Control Warrior and I pulled Elysiana, too. And my opponent wasn't skillful enough even to draw Dr. Boom.

Yesterday I pulled 2 Archmage Vargoth from Dimensional Ripper who in turn pulled two Mountain Giant and two Hecklebot respectively.
Nothing much my opponent could do against that...
