No replays or pics sadly, but I beat the same emoting Big Priest idiot 5 times with Cubelock, he switched to Anyfin Paladin, got me once then lost again. 6-1 scrub, at least learn to play your t1 netdecks
Created an account just so I could post this: Been trying out a Spirit of the Shark/Prince Keleseth deck. Just had a game where I was able to pull off the combo of triggering Keleseth's battlecry six times in one turn by playing Spirit of the Shark, Keleseth, and two Shadowsteps. I didn't even win that game (I had lost too much health by then, and my opponent used Twisting Nether to stop my chance at a comeback), but after yesterday, in which I seemed to lose every game after drawn-out, grueling matches, it was just a pure moment of joy to trigger that combo and play a 9/9 Blink Fox and SI:7 Agent.
So I'm playing as a Shudderwock Jade Shaman (weaker version, cuz' there's no Loatheb) against Overload Burn Shaman. I don't run any 1-drops, so I pass on my first turn. My opponent coins out Totem Golem. I didn't have any answers to it and I just hero power'd. And believe it or not, but for 3 consecutive turns I only rolled the Stoneclaw Totem. My opponent had a bad early game, so they were forced to hit the taunt twice, until they finally got fed up with it and Lava Shocked it.
Anyway, I will skip some turns and just tell you the most hilarious part - in this game I healed myself for 29 from my Antique Healbots, for 24 from Healing Rains and as a BM for 12 from Shudderwock, i.e. 65 restored health points in summary + the 6 blocked damage from my taunt totem. I can only imagine how salty my opponent was to lose to such BS plays; I mean, they constantly put stuff on the board and targeted my face with spells.
I didn't have any transform removals, so I cleared only the first demon. My opponent then got a Voidlord from the Skull and copied Mal'Ganis with a Faceless. I was @ 28 health and the warlock had 28 damage on the board. I played Jade Chieftain knowing that the smallest removal could kill me. My opponent decided to be greedy and copied Mal'Ganis for a second time, they traded the current ones into my minions instead of going face and cast Sense Demons. I knew I was done for, so I emoted "well played" and played Dirty Rat twice. I didn't pull a Doomsayer, but the rest of their big minions.
My opponent decided to spare me. I played Hagatha, who killed a Mal'Ganis. My opponent spared me again, however they left me @ 2 health. Now I played my sneaky Shudderwock:
- I killed another Mal'Ganis - healed myself for 8 - pulled 2 Doomsayers
This happened on turn 10, because I remember how I coin-ed out a Baleful Banker and shuffled an additional Shudderwock.
My opponent couldn't do anything and started tapping for their DK. In the mean time I slowly healed myself to full, built up a jade army and threatened lethal. The warlock had to dig through their whole deck to find the DK, played it, but it only resurrected weak minions. I cast Devolve and didn't hesitate to smack their face with my green men.
When you give a Jade Druid in casual a taste of his own cancer, so he ragequits.
Aahh...

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
Vargoth is the man. I just won with my reno priest vs a mill rogue. This mill rogue was hard core mill and I think he shuffled like 12 coldlights into his deck by t5. He milled a ton of my cards (and almost all combo pieces). However I play reno with dragons so enough pressure on him all the time. By t8 he has 13 hp and I have drake on my side and vargoth +mind blast in hand.
I have just encountered - in over 6 months or so of playing the deck - my first mirror match with Wild MalySham. Homebrew jank mirror matches! Woo! So much better than endless priests, even if that MU is favoured for me.
Finally got around to trying the new card and as some already know it's kind of broken in big priest. I put together a list and i ended up playing a rogue also using Vargoth and espionage. Needless to say it was ridiculous but spell stone granted me a full board with two Velen and multiple Vargoths. Here's the version I'm using in the last few days of standard:
Was playing Thief Rogue in wild and had played Ice Block already. I only had a 1-cost Tess for a minion in my hand (from Luna's) and had Simulacrum. This allowed me to do an infinite combo of playing Tess every turn which copied the other Tess in my hand with Simulacrum and re-cast Ice Block along with all the other mage minions I had played before. Poor mage couldn't do anything about it and quit.
facing the standart meta hunter player... i draw malygos early got him discounted by coin Dreampetal Florist turn 7 was a swipe board clear(at this point i had 9 Hp), i did Bm him then by playing Archmage Vargoth and full armor 2 turns later i had 55 armor Pog
Got to love the people that want to stick with me during my Ice Cream Shaman games. This one's been going on for well over an hour and already at 6.3k armor. ;)
EDIT: Got to a 6.7k before they either left or were disconnected.
On an 8-win streak using my beloved Odd Gonk Druid deck before it unfortunately is going to die as collateral damage to save the current meta.
It's a bloody shame this never caught on with anyone else, definitely the most fun I ever had playing Druid (especially after the nerfs let me include Wild Growth).

2nd game versus Cubelock
I don't know what happened in that match. I don't know if my opponent was BMing me or felt sorry and gave me the win, but read what happened:
Turn 5 -> Skull of the Man'ari -> Mal'Ganis -> Carnivorous Cube + Dark Pact
I didn't have any transform removals, so I cleared only the first demon. My opponent then got a Voidlord from the Skull and copied Mal'Ganis with a Faceless. Feelsgood
PLaying against rogue and he plays the usual acedemic espionage
He then plays Temporus as he has 10 cards i think ?
My Tar creeper gets divine spirit and inner fire to a 20/20 and takes his last 5 HP on my extra turn
Just hyped that cancerious odd and even decks Will rotate out of standard really soon now.
