My good vibes come from reading all the posts concerning the new expansion. Funny how so many people can base their opinion on < 5 cards revealed.. Rotation is coming! ^^
i have to post this one because of how ridiculous it became. Kibler's Elemental Dragon Evolve Shaman (with a couple changed cards) VS Non Cutlass Academic Rogue.
as the game progresses, the Cobalt Scalebane acts as a trigger for my dragon synergy cards, since most of mine were at the bottom of the deck, and the Hungry Ettin forced him to use one of his Walk the Plank.
He was having some bad academic card draws, so he didnt get anything too scary, but he did get me down to 7 health. Luckily, i had Prophet Velen in hand and my only Healing Rain. Healed back up to full health. next turn, Hagatha for board clear, play Fire Fly, continue keeping pressure and won.
I've made it to Rank 5 for the first time since I'm playing Hearthstone today ! Big achievement for me, since I've never been as far as rank 7. Big Smile on my face ATM ! :DDD
Had a quest to play 60 Rogue cards, so I created a budget Thief Rogue (no Faldorei, Vilespine, Academic Espionage, etc). Queued into Deathrattle Hunter.
I was at 1 HP two times, before managing to turn it around thanks to Tess Greymane switching me around between Zul'jin and Valeera DK, gaining armor, filling boards and casting random stuff from both classes. As Valeera I replayed Hunter cards like Tundra Rhino, Stitched Tracker (which I got one extra Tess), Explosive Shots and Zul'jin. Then when I was Zul'jin had Vanish, multiple casts of Pick Pocket and Hallucination and more Tesses (two even got Vanished back to hand).
Another great game was quite curious. I queued Dragon Paladin into Odd Warrior, and despite having almost a full board for various turns, I took 3 straight Ragnaroks shots at the face and lost.
Then queued Horsemen/Holy Wrath Paladin into yet another Odd Warrior. When I simply cycling through, I cast a random Holy Wrath for the draw and actually drew Shirvallah and hit him for 25 (he was at 19) when I still had 12 cards left and was just trying to cycle for Uther.
Just played against Thijs in wild ranked, got destroyed but that was my first time playing against a famous player. So glad I made it to Rank 5 this month :) :) :)
Biggest luck streak yet for me with pack openings. A week ago I was thinking about whether or not to buy some Un'goro packs because there's still 5 legendaries that I really want from there (9 missing overall). So I've been buying one or two packs everyday since then (I'm at 12 packs now) and today I've gotten the 4th legendary of exactley those 5 legendaries that I wanted and the one today was even golden. XD
I'll probably continue for a few more packs and then stop. By now there's really not much reason in continuing. XD
I know, I know, here I advertise success with the deck which some people consider "cancerous", but... but... currently my score with it is 15-16 (it was as low as 33%). Opponents destroyed me in some of the most incredible and shameful ways. Yes, even aggro can be unlucky. :P And I was unlucky in at last half of the games. :) That's a fine justification to present you 2 games where I wasn't unlucky, for a change.
1) Just a moment after spilling some salt how I always have a bad draw, never having Sap when needed... I topkeked Myra's Unstable Element (also always missing this one when needed, true story, bro!). Myra's brought me 2 Saps and some other stuff for the perfect lethal.
2) Another game. Again crappy hand (all highest mana). Doing mostly nothing during the opening turns vs. Big Priest. Then started just dropping big guys, Naga Corsair, Captain Greenskin... The turn after I played Tinker's Sharpsword Oil and practically started buffing my hero power knife, as the only possible win condition left. It worked. I killed Big Priest without Kingsbane, but with the regular dagger instead.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”
i'm playing a mechrattle hunter homebrew and this shit is lit. Judging by the legendary from ROS this archetype will get some support and I think it's going to be really good. magnetic is actually a strong mechanic when tempo actually matters and you can't just wtfpwnvomit cards like maly+lash, rexxar beasts, psychic scream, etc to swing back games for no reason. the deathrattles are pretty strong against fair but strong clears like brawl and mass hysteria.
pussyboi priests who play big priest in casual need to highroll reno lash just to get the pepper off them. odd pallies are getting owned on the board just praying I don't draw one of the few YOTM cards in my deck, Rexxar, so that their broken hero power can carry them.
Just played against Thijs in wild ranked, got destroyed but that was my first time playing against a famous player. So glad I made it to Rank 5 this month :) :) :)
I think i played justsaiyan at legend the other day and that was really cool. It was at like 400ish legend and I won. Not sure if it was really him, though.

When it comes to famous players I played with Dane and GetMeowth (queued 2 times in a row against both of them lol), 1-1 against Dane, and lost 2-0 against GetMeowth but to justify my loss a bit GetMeowth was playing Kingsbane both games which is very favored against Malygos Warlock :P
I have to fight against shaman shudder'thun, I was druid quest then I beat him and it's my turn again to fight against the same person now he was Big Priest with the new skin, it was very complicated for me this game but I won him again then he sends me Friendship request but rejection :)
P.S. Playing big priest later because you lost for your tier 2-3 deck does not make you a better player.
P.S. 2 Buy a skin does not make you better either Dander :)
Playing against Quest Druid on rank 5 (EU) (not everyone plays hunter :P ) , and I was playing with Luna's Pocket Galaxy Janalai Mage(Homebrew deck).
See the screenshot
With the ban brawl, been owning a lot of players that don't ban renounce!
Faced a Secret Hunter, Taunt Jade Druid, Murloc Rogue, Bunny hopper/Combo Rogue, a dumb VanCleef combo Rogue (which I banned Vancleef) and Mill Druid, geez!
This weeks Brawl
Stage 1, Choose Renounce Darkness
Stage 2, Win

Turn 8. i evolve 3 minions on my board. Dragonmaw Scorcher into Prophet Velen, Scaleworm into Hungry Ettin, and a totem into Cobalt Scalebane. The Rogue uses Vanish to return all three to my hand.
as the game progresses, the Cobalt Scalebane acts as a trigger for my dragon synergy cards, since most of mine were at the bottom of the deck, and the Hungry Ettin forced him to use one of his Walk the Plank.

This was a hilarious dance and in the end I managed to win the game when I was at 1 HP two times. https://hsreplay.net/replay/ufT2gqD3DGSHufVVrvkSs3

Hilarious as I was even thinking "Imagine if I draw Shirvallah" then bam! -25 to the face. https://hsreplay.net/replay/YiqZTVGMg2DsABPseUVYtb
Great feelings those games!

Join me at Out of Cards!
That's more like it lol
Turns out hunters don't like it when you steal their tricks.
Had another game where I got DK Rexxar and he just conceded as well.
Such pussios
Deathrattle rogue is the most fun to play deck since oil rogue. Sitting around 3rd rank but having so much fun.
I'm upset this deck would be dead after rotation. It would be really cool last month before rotation.

The simmetry is glorious.
Also, Wild is really funny, I'm starting to get into it pretty fast :)
