I'm not really sure where to put this post, as it's neither salt nor pepper. We need another thread with a different spice.
Anyways, I had a very odd last few games trying out some Kingsbane and Tess Rogue on the Europe servers, I'm at around rank 20, and I think 3-4 players in a row early conceded against me, before I did anything really that special. They were all different players, I guess they all just really hate Rogue.
After switching to Wild because I grew sick and tired of being stuck at rank 20 on standard, I've hit 15 with an 83% win rate using a combination of Big Spell Mage and Steal Priest.
Feels great using old cards again and rediscovering having fun on Hearthstone.

Using my reno shudderwock deck, I was about to loseto his 16 attack kingsbane that he was going to topdeck, as it was the last card in my opponent's deck. He foolishly didn't realize that his shadow reflection would occupy the 10th card slot in his hand, however, and he burned his own Kingsbane. There was a long pause... and a concede :p
I just managed to burn a Mill Rogue's Kingsbane using a Coldlight Oracle that I stole from him just after playing a Harrison Jones that I also stole from him. Felt so satisfying.
10 games, and a lot of "enjoy the midsummer festvial" and some other emotes like let the fireworks ,,, and etc. I have been muting people left and right for many months. Then I said to myself, who is toxic? Maybe me? I enjoyed those losses and those exchanges. I'm just a casual player, not grinding!
I enjoyed my 10 games of hearthstone, thank you guys!
Just wanted to share this. I know I already created a thread, mentioning how underrated Anub'ar Ambusher is, but this moment wouldn't have been possible without AA, Hallucination, Shadowstep and having the coin to play five Mini-Rag in one turn with Glinda's help.
I was playing my homebrew Reno Mage at rank 14. I had reached that rank mostly with Even Shaman, but I wanted to try and finish off the last 50 or so wins for golden Jaina. My most recent win was against another mage who had a crap ton of secrets, and Reno Jackson sat in my hand for quite a while.
I was at 20 health, and the other mage (who was at 12 health.) attempted to set up a two turn lethal with double Pyroblast. (one was from Primordial Glyph.)
The first one set off a red flag for me, so I played Reno Jackson and healed up to full health. The other mage emoted "My magic will tear you apart," then killed himself with Frostbolt and the reduced Pyroblast. 451 wins down, 49 to go.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
162 ladder wins with Renouncelock and counting! Reno, Zoo, Cube, Even; they all run Renounce Darkness in my lists!
Played this game Vs. a control mage in training wheels mode the other night.
Looked like he was in for an early win, but I make a comeback. Makes for an awesome replay if you're into control vs. control gameplay.
I lost, but it was loads of fun... I have to remember not to let my face get so low in future when facing a mage :D
EDIT: I'm sure I missed lethal at the end there as well. At least I learned how to deal with that archetype a bit better now. If I'd just healed my face instead of that minion he'd not have been able to finish me off in that turn and I'd have won most likely anyway. A few definite misplays there.
Man this is my second season ever reaching rank 5 (Also in a row as the first was last season lol) and it does feel great. that 400 dust boost at the end of the season does indeed feel very rewarding. Started this season at rank 8 and then tried to play some memes and ended up dropping to rank 10 and then did the climb back on the last 4 days playing only Keleseth Egg Hunter, ended up with 71% winrate, and the last 2 games where against warlock, an even and zoo as the final boss, he got super punished for not full trading into my grizzly as I traded his dreadlord and then went for cube into play dead to lock the game down, he also got keleseth at the start and pressure me a lot the whole game so it was pretty cool, he'll never leave a grizzly up again even if he has to full trade his board lol. Here's the replay in case someone wants to check it https://hsreplay.net/replay/NR9LsmZXPSDxGBBgQxMTFQ.
Beat a kingsbane rogue who had buffed his kingsbane up to 10 and lifesteal, had his dk, and I had no board, but did get hagatha out. By reusing my humble ooze about three times through spirit echo and grumble, spellstoning a fire elemental, just one freeze spell, and lots of patience. Must be one of my all time favourite games.
So this month I took a vacation from standard to focus on wild, especially that the new expansion is coming out next month. I've been playing a control warlock and having great success with it.
This game I'm playing a OTK mage, I went from rank 23 to rank 13 which is where this game took place.
The mage just played a doomsayer and I just drew the brann. Perfect timing for my brann dirty rat combo!!!
Now the BEST dirty rat ever is about to happen!! I get the sorcerers apprentice and archmage antonidas!!! He concedes right after!! Haha thanks for your doomsayer! GG

And very often, I'd like to say to the other lady/dude. Good game man. Much love. Make it so Peter!

Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
Its feels so good when mill/kingsbane rouge burn his kingsbane when he overused coldlight haha!
He gave up directly lol

Taking my even recruit warrior to casual. First match, odd rogue. I win. Second match, tempo mage. I win. Third match, odd paladin. I win.
Feels good beating tier 1 ladder decks using a meme on casual mode.
Seriously though, can I get matched up against just one slower deck so I can actually see the potential of my deck?
Edit: And 3 more aggro mages in the next 4 games. Beat all of them though!
Reached Rank 5 with egghunter. W8ing for my 400 dust.
lets go!
