Who plays Divine Shield Pally? Like no one, right? Ok, so I made a deck with that theme and went to casual all eager and excited! I'm facing a Paladin and I assume murloc/aggro/dude. Well this is hiw it rolls:
1. I'm first and I play Argent Squire (having Blood Knight in hand yey!)
2. He plays an Argent Squire as well.
3. I play a Righteous Protector and hit his face saving the divine shield on my Squire at the least.
4. It just happens to be that he is the other player in the universe playing divine shield paladin and coins out his own Blood Knight on the board with a gracious "Well met!" and it becomes a 12/12 removing all shields.
I concede, but I'm actually delightful after that one! :)
Ps. Before conceding I slammed my own Blood Knight on the board hoping my opponent appreciated the collision of the mirror meme.
Pretty funny and it actually reminds me of when I play my 30 legendary deck. As much as I disagree that match-making is rigged I often find myself in 30 legendary deck mirrors more often when playing that deck than say playing a non-30 legendary deck and facing an opponent who plays it in casual. So I do wonder if match-making isn't rigged per say, but that the game may recognize if you're playing a divine shield pally deck, or a 30 legendary minion deck, and will at times match you against the same deck slightly more often than other 'normal' queued up games.
I actually get what is about the worst possible mulligan .. Antonidas, and both apprentices. And to top it off, by Turn 4, I have every piece of the combo in hand ... all i need is to complete the quest.
And then the Coldlight Oracles begin to dance! And I have to say, ... this guy was good. He milled the daylights out of me. (not all the difficult whn I had 6 cards in hand that were effectively dead.
But, in between every possible way to bounce the oracles, I finally managed to get the quest done. But what finished the game was such BEAUTIFUL irony. The rogue only had 1 card in his deck ... so I dropped hit to 1 health .. and played the Coldlight Oracle I had in my hand, killing him from fatigue.
I really, really hope he saw the irony in the way he died, after milling probably 8+ cards out of my deck

I wanna glide down, over Mulholland I wanna write her, name in the sky I wanna free fall, out into nothin' Gonna leave this, world for awhile
What a crazy turn of events! I thought for sure I lost this one. 1/1 on board, down to 14 health, facing a board of a 7/7, 6/3, 5/3 taunt, and two 2/3 taunts.
Just won a game against a Paladin. Who had a Scourgelord Garrosh. He discovered it through Grimestreet Informant. In Arena!!!... I was even able to destroy his weapon trough durability by placing minions correectly on the board and not giving so much resources to him. (In case anybody didn't knew, they can be discovered trough the cards even if they are banned in Arena)
Played against Warlock with my Secret mage, Winning ment getting rank 7 . He was playing really well against me, forcing me to actually continue to have minions on the board as I couldn't bring him down enough. Tossing out 2 voidlords, resurrecting them with Bloodreaver Guldan Meanwhile he had triggered Mirror Entity with Rin, the First Disciple I pulled from a Primordial Glyph . Both of us dancing avoiding to trigger her Deathrattle. Finally I did it using the Seals to fill up turns and keep him under pressure while at the same time lowering the mana cost of my Arcane Giant Until I drew Aluneth played the Arcane giant and the weapon. Preparing the field in case I got Flamestrike I didn't get it right away, so I removed part of his taunt wall. ( A this point I had a giant, a kabal crystal runner and a kiron tor mage on the board.) Next turn I got my Flamestrike Removed his entire field, went face for 17 damage. On his last turn he used Twisting Nether but I had lethal in my hand and got him the next turn.
Playing a Druid armour/jade/Recruit deck that I made in 5 minutes yesterday and come up against a secret mage in casual. Managed to beat him even after he took me down to 4 health. Oh how I laughed. My 2nd-to-last had me draw 5 jade idols from a UI when I already had 2 in my hand, so I threw them all on the board next go. Gave me lethal, easily. He had no answer but to concede.
Well, would ya look at that? That hasn't happened in like a year for me! What're the odds of that happening, legit? and neither of them are ones I had before, and I have a lot!
Finally got to rank 10 wild after losing to almost every Big Priest I ran into (tried both Reno Lock & Giants Hunter) and losing maybe 60% of the burn mage match-ups. Final boss was against another mage. I couldn't tell if it was a normal Freeze Mage or not since they had typical cards such as Acolyte, double doomsayer + frost nova, and Thaurassian, but they also had runes. Had them at 1 health with their first block still up. Eater of Secrets + Doomguard ftw!
Just had a great come-from-behind win over a Big Priest with Control Warlock. Drew nothing proactive for the first 8 turns, which didn't much matter other than the fact that he got off an empty board Shadow Essence into Y'Shaarj which pulled Y'Shaarj. I'm able to Siphon the big one and it comes back immediately. I pull a Voidlord off Possessed Lackey, he Pain-Horrors to smash my face down to ten with a loaded board of monsters. Down comes Twisting Nether. Diamond Spellstone for a triple rez. Nether take two. He reloads yet again. I drop another Voidlord, he beats through, I drop N'Zoth. Two Diamond Spellstones later and I drop Bloodreaver Gul'dan, retake the board. He manages to clear but has no threats left. I start a Rin chain to put him deeper in fatigue, he concedes in futility.
Just a really great titanic struggle for a win. Running up against an almost ideal opening and just barely eking out survival until I finally stabilize. Felt so cool to come out on top at the end.
Just won vs a secret mage, turn 1 Mana Wyrm, coin, kabal free secret..... which was a counterspell. next turn another free secret and I was down to 15 health by about turn 4 as a Hunter.... I ended up coming back for the win and they conceded before I could smash face...muhuahuhauha
Just won an arena match with a well-found lethal so wanted to share it!
Playing the wild arena event, drafted a pretty crummy warlock deck (65ish tier score) and was playing my fourth match, sitting 1-2. Was falling behind on board to a mage when he played Hungry Dragon, which gave me a Webspinner. From that I got Gahz'rilla . He had enough on board to kill it, so I held on to it and focused on clearing the board .
A few turns later, the board is pretty clear but I'm below 10 health and my opponent still has 18. I know I could be pyroblasted at any moment so I drop Gahz'rilla and cross my fingers . I've got Power Overwhelming in hand so that's at least 10 burst damage, maybe I have a chance...
My opponent goes face, presumably hoping he can burn me out before I can burst him down... But then I top deck my Elven Archer...

Sometimes people play so badly it's just hilarious. And this comes from a not so good player myself.

PS: On turn 2, when the Freezing Trap activated, the Mana Wyrm was attacking Secretkeeper. So yes, he was going for a free trade for me.

Power Overwhelming on the Gahz'rilla takes him to 10 attack. Ping him with the battlecry from Elven Archer doubles it to 20!
