Just survived against the aggro druid at 2 hp and won, best dam feeling ever!! ofcourse the embarrassment was too much for him so he rage quitted. not to mention it was casual game and he had golden druid :)
I'm pretty new to Hearthstone, and trying out my first post here. Just wanted to say how much fun I had with the solo adventures in the last two expansions, and especially the latest one.
Wanting to beat the Lich King was fun because it forced me to experiment with making different decks, watch streamers to learn for the first time, and due to the fact that I don't have a big card collection, be strategic about what to craft and what to substitute/make do with what I had. I finally beat him with all 9, (though Mage took forever, and Warrior took forever and a day!) and I feel like it made me a better player.
Then with dungeon runs, I'm getting a different perk, which is getting to play with cards I don't have from previous expansions, as well as experiment with the latest one from Kobolds and Catacombs. I love how every time is a little different based on the cards and passive hero powers offered as loot. I've only cleared a run with Hunter so far, but I'm having a blast with it. (Despite the parts I liked about Frozen Throne, I admit it did get a little repetitive with Mage and Warrior, and so I'm enjoying how the dungeon runs are slightly different each time.)
Hope you are all having fun with the new expansion, and I'll see you around the forums and on the ladder!
Enjoying the dungeon run. I don't like PVP in some of these potentially P2W games especially when I got sick of throwing $50 in per expansion since I don't have the time to grind out the gold... and know that I'll get steamrolled by meta decks even at the lower ranks until I get my collection back up to current form.
But the ups and downs of PVE dungeon run have been great. Trying to counter potential decks I'll face versus buffing my own deck with the different passive choices.... the highlight of winning my first complete run with rogue by using the "cast pyros until someone is dead" and getting lucky enough for pyro's to target his face 3 more times than mine (he had the board controlled and was milling me pretty hard, I knew my late game wasn't going to be enough), so RNGesus loved me that run.
Easily able to get to 4th boss on most runs so feeling pretty good about my feel for the dungeons so far.
So I've tried to modify my old Tempo Rogue list with new cards. The Thicc Gurl Sonya Shadowdancer with Prince Keleseth allowed a 7/8 7/8 "How long must this go on" and it made me happy.
Wow, nice! I could've almost set a record in number of Benedictuses played, but my opponent conceded. I played 2 and I had 6 more copies in my hand due to the treasure from Marin that fill your hand with copies of a card form your deck.
I was trying this shaman deck with snowfury giant and shaman spellstone, against a dragon priest
At some point, he played Temporus (which he got from Netherspite Historian)
I went on to play my giant, then summoned 3 more copies. At the beginning of my extra turn, he conceded...
OMAEWA MOU SHINDEIRU
NANI?
*SCREEEEEEEEEECH*
Also, add me to the list of "people having a good time in dungeon run", even if sometimes I lsoe badly and others I have bad RNG/matchup on crucial times.
Yesterday I friend requested a Razakus player to ask why he would BM when he topdecked the one card in his Deck that could prevent me from having lethal the following turn and today the same guy "mocks" me cause his Rank is higher than mine.... I mean, I knew that half the Razakus players are deluded teenagers with like one single neuron but his "insult" still made me have a good laugh.... Hopefully he'll keep doing that and make my day a little better....
Playing Reno/Razakus Priest in wild around rank 20. I was playing against a mage who had the quest, but probably just for maximum randomness; there was no other signs of a true Exodia Mage. I felt a little badly at first, but his Spellslinger gave me a Pyroblast that actually ended up killing said mage in the end. I play Reno Priest to improve my skill and practice making less mistakes. (Regarding mistakes, I had burned my Raza in my previous matchup and lost, but that was okay to me, because I'm still practicing and learning the deck.)
Killing randomness with randomness that randomness gives me is sweet, especially when my deck does not have much randomness other than Lyra's "Miracle SpellGrow."

Hit rank 15 with a homebrew back in the KOFT days.

Kind of surprised I won that actually. 3/9 done. Had the Trap Room and Toggwaggle as my last bosses.
Deck was Reno with only 2x (Gul'dan and Hellfire) and also Mal'Ganis, which ended up saving me in the end.

I've no clue what I'm doing...
From the mail I got from the dev team with the seasonal statistics from November I just noticed I should rage less about this game.
I managed a 90% winrate overall in standard mode and I pushed to legend.
Razakus plebs still suck dicks.

That's pretty sick wg15. Congrats on that winrate. Very impressive!
