I didn't take a screenshot, I was too excited to remember, but just imagine how my priest opponent made his C'Thun 25/25.
I lost my one and only Vilespine Slayer and because my hand was full, I constantly overdrew burst (removal). But no problem, Antique Healbot helped me all the way. Just imagine, that several turns in a row my opponent just smashed me in the face and then I just healed back, slowly pinging his one. At the end I won, because I managed to find board buff cards for my 1/1s.
Had an Arena match with some amazing RNG action. My opponent had Prince Malchezaar in his deck. First he got him a Kazakus... activated! After some hard fighting I got the board and had some hope to get the things working in my way. Then: Deathwing from Malchezaar. Damn! One hit by Deathwing would finish me. I had Atiesh equipped and was hoping for one of my two Blastcrystal Potion or Twisting Nether with about 10 cards left in the deck. Unfortunatley I didn't draw any. I tapped for another card. Nothing. At least I was able to hide behind Tar Creeper and maybe Thunder Lizard in the following turn. If I would survive... My opponent top decked Arcane Intellect into Novice Engineer into Leeroy Jenkins (from Malchezaar) and it was over.
I drafted a Paladin deck that I considered good, but nothing too special. I had a good curve of minions, but none of the crazy broken cards I could have gotten like Truesilver Champion, Spikeridged Steed or Bonemare. I got two wins, then on my third game I faced the most rediculous Rogue deck with great card quality and FOUR Vilespine Slayers to keep my board clear. I lost, going 2-1. I won the next two games, then faced another ridiculous deck, Priest this time. He had an excellent curve of minions, but I fought tooth and nail for board control. Ended up losing because he top decked a Mind Control to steal my windfuried Volcanosaur and I ran out of steam afterwards.
Here I was at 4-2 feeling like I'd gotten a bit robbed by 2 of my opponents. But I thought, "Whatever I wasn't expecting too much from this deck, but I've broken even, even if I lose the next match. Maybe I can pick up one or two more wins." I won the following EIGHT games, going from a mediocre 4-2 to an amazing 12-2. I mostly fought Rogues and other Paladin decks, many of which had higher card quality then I did. But I guess I played smart and got a bit lucky, because I beat them all in the end. Special shout out goes to the Vinecleaver and Stormwind Champion synergy and my 8/6 windfuried Volcanosaur tearing another paladin apart with a clean TTK.
For anyone interested, my rewards were 1 KFT pack, 1 Golden Aldor Peacekeeper and 400 gold. Not bad, but I really wish 12 wins would give you a guaranteed golden legendary like with Heroic Brawl.
Hmmm...feeling really good and less frustrated. Started to play Magic the Gathering and meeting other players at events. The games feels so much less random than HS.
Playing HS now and then a bit is much more less frustrating.
But yeah, the games took a long time and I wasn't lucky with winstreaks, and because I work full time and also teach after hours, I don't really have time and energy to grind. I'm sure I could, but I just didn't have the heart for it...
So I was hovering between ranks 9 and 8 for the last week, pretty miserable, playing a game or two in the evening and then just leaving it be. Then, yesterday, I accidentally stumbled upon recent hsreplay.net stats about Elemental Prince Rogue, looked up that deck, 2 legs missing. I somehow said to myself, fuck it! I dusted The Last Kaleidosaur, Jungle Giants, The Marsh Queen and after some deliberation several epics that I thought I wouldn't use... and crafted Prince Keleseth and Shaku, the Collector.
Nice and quick games, took me from rank 8 to 5 in 3 hours :D
That felt really good. So just wanted to share :) cheers.
I just unpacked a golden Spreading Plague. Since I got it within two weeks of it being nerfed, I was able to disenchant it for 800 dust, bringing my dust total over 1700.
To the mage who just lost to me after holding a 30-1 health advantage, I'm sorry for your loss.
But for my sake, that was a damn-near life saving few turns as a Taunt Warrior (armorsmith into blood razor into whirlwind into a bunch of taunts into sulfuras)
This is, like, retrospective pepper, but Prince Keleseth was the first legendary I opened from KFT. Figured it was bad luck at the time, but still threw him in some aggro Rogue and Paladin decks back then. Happy how he's turned out!
Yesterday i wanted to craft kaleseth, but then i thought lets open one more pack and see what i get.... and i got kaleseth.... i was so happy that i invested the 1,6k dust in a second golden renounce. Best day i ever had in hs.
I finally got the fourth golden hero, Thrall, after Malfurion, Rexxar, and Gul'dan! Pretty much, my four favorite classes now have a golden representative and while this really means nothing, I feel like I have accomplished a goal I had since I started playing this game. While Uther, Jaina, and Valeera(although I prefer Maiev) are close, they are of less importance to me. Anduin and Garrosh will have to wait quite a bit since I really couldn't care less about their classes.
> Counterfeit Coin

> Hail, Friend
To all rank 1s trying to push for legend with a legitimate deck, sorry but not really lol.
Sincerely - Hemet Benedictus meme Priest in dumpster legend ranks.

Yessssssssssssss, beat Big Priest by killing EVERYTHING HE PLAYED and letting him run out of cards. Fucking amazing.
Ahh, how I love Factory Rogue shenanigans.

Valeera DK was worth every penny (dust).

Just WOW!
What a match! Gotta love this game. :D
Playing Treachery on my Unlicensed Apothecary and following it up with Brann Bronzebeard and Leeroy Jenkins for the 26 damage burst.

Really loving my Treachery Warlock deck right now...

Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.

So I've invested my dust into Razakus at the beggining of the month. Had to craft Raza the Chained, Shadowreaper Anduin, Dragonfire Potion and Prophet Velen so basically I blew all my dust savings :)
Had a pretty decent winrate with it:
But yeah, the games took a long time and I wasn't lucky with winstreaks, and because I work full time and also teach after hours, I don't really have time and energy to grind. I'm sure I could, but I just didn't have the heart for it...

I was completing my quests against my friend. Got this from Kabal Courier. Shame things like that are not happening on ranked mode.
Pretty sure this would be the current definition of "the nuts" ..
I wanna glide down, over Mulholland
I wanna write her, name in the sky
I wanna free fall, out into nothin'
Gonna leave this, world for awhile
I dueled my friend without telling him what deck I would be playing. He picked Razakus Priest and I chose my trusty Memelock.
Renounce Darkness halfway through the game that made me Hunter caught him off guard, but then I managed to get Explore Un'Goro from Grimestreet Informant. Few turns later I discovered another Renounce Darkness and changed my hero power yet again.
And even though I eventually lost this game to Voidform, I feel like the real winner. THIS is how Hearthstone should be played :D

Hit rank 5 for the first time and decided to treat myself with a pack. Golden Bolvar, Fireblood fellsgoodman
Stay awhile and listen!

Pirate Warrior plays Southsea Deckhand turn one, summons Patches. Forgets to attack with Patches. Immediately concedes.

"priest is OP, they always have the answers"
but what if there are no questions?
