I was really excited about this game, but only letting popular streamers play it is ridiculous. The pool of players that are randomly getting invites is pretty unfair also. I opt-in my account like the same exact day it was available to do so. Really annoying to have to wait this long and watch streams just to get an idea of the game. I really don't get why open beta is taking so long to go live.
1. A small number can give them a very good idea of what to balance. Higher number are usuful towards the end to confirm everything
2. An open beta will massive stress test the servers, their development team are not yet at this point most of the time. The beta happens WHILE the game is being developed so even if the game looks finish and polish on the outside, server wise and behind the gear might be different
3. The day you joined the opt-in means nothing, I know it sucks, but remember being part of a beta is a privilege, not something Blizzard AS to give you. And you should know that yes it's sad not to be in, but again a lot of companies don't do open beta. When they have one it's with a full NDA and very selected few. Be lucky that they do that.
Finally why it takes so long? If you put a product in front of a massive audience and the game is far off from being finish, you will kill your game. That's what will happen if you do an open beta too early.
Some games will invite to beta test based on who signed up first and then do random lottery after the first couple of waves. That imo, is the best way to do it. And yeah i feel your pain, bro signed up day 1 and nothing! i have to bum it off a friends account but now hes back from military and gonna spam play. T_T

Pshh Deathsangel is lying. They really just want to rub it in your face that they have something nice and you can't have it : P
I'll agree with you that there are bugs. But what do you mean by graphically? Like shadows not appearing or what?
Game is unfinished. I gave my beta-key to my boyfriend though. I've only seen it played.
Got no beta, holding my breath.
