...Will you tech it? In the possible Battlecry meta that may come? It worth it?
This 2 mana long forgotten nerubian was only waiting his chance to ambush those pesky "battlecriers" minions that yet has to come. Specially now with their leader: Brann Bronzebeard possibly know as Dr. Battlecry.
Weigth the possibilities: By using Nerub'ar Weblord on the tech slot you can screw pretty much most "on curve" plays that your opponent may do with the possible Battlecry decks that yet has to come, or simply the Battlecry OP combos that most ppl will run (Brann + Heal/Draw/Dmg/Buff), but with the drawback that your own Battlecry effects will be affected.
I don't know, but I do know that today is going to be a useless day for Brann, that's for sure, because everyone is going to be running two of that fucking card so good luck testing Brann to see if he's any good. What I mean to say is that so many people are going to be so defensive because of butthurt over the above average, not OP card Reno Jackson, they will more than likely overcompensate by making SURE to run two weblords so they don't get "reno'd" or rather "Brann'd". but the problem there is nobody will be able to playtest the fucking card so thats lame behavior.
The problem with Nerub'ar weblord is that it is not truly a 2-drop nor does it do anything in the late game (kill it, drop your big battlecry guy). 1 damage is ok against aggro decks but doesn't do much against decks that play on curve ( 3 mana 3/3, 4 mana 4/5 etc). You also have to consider what advantage you are getting from this and I don't see what it could do to help me other than stall my opponent for more than one or two turns.
In the end it is more of an Arena card rather than a useful tech card for constructed decks. In constructed you want the best possible deck and the best available cards for the biggest impact and win rate you can get.
If you look closely, you can see this is a signature and not a comment. Why are you reading? Stop reading this. Did you read this too? Dang you must like reading.
I think it'll definitely see play as a tech card. The thing about it though is that it works best when you're expecting a combo or a very specific card like Dr. Boom and Mysterious Challenger. I think we're gonna have to wait and see what the most prevalent combo with Brann Bronzebeard is going to be before we can see the best use of the Nerub'ar Weblord. Then you also have to keep the board in check so that it won't simply die to something that's already on the board without actually doing any work for you.

It's not a bad tempo card. Early, it prevents a lot of minions that could be summoned. might be decent in disrupting the mana curve, such as playing before turn 7 and Dr. Boom. Against Handlock, it stops them from playing turn 4 Twilight Drakes. With Brann Bronzebeard impacting the new meta, I think this card will be pretty decent tech.
That meta is not coming, and if it was nerubar weblord can be rather easily killed.
I'm not sure about that. I mean, I can understand your position, but I have a vision of Brann being synergized with a ton of singles of battlecries early on to buy time for Reno to show up. Whether or not thats the weed or an accurate prediction we shall see in...hours.

it already works against Dragon Priest.

I think bad card is bad.
Galavant Animation
If people haven't tech'd it yet vs MC, they will never.
Mby in some hobgoblin deck, other than that, doubt it.
