The only really powerful combos are with Mill Rogue and Antique Healbot so I highly doubt we'll be seeing entire Battlecry themed decks other than Mill Rogue.
I'm still excited to try it in handlock nonetheless. Mostly for the Heal but also some niche Defender of Argus and Twilight Drake synergy.
I entirely agree with Garlicnerd. Reno Jackson is able to change the meta because he has a powerful and direct battlecry. Brann Bronzebeard is an "aura" minion with only 4 life points that can be trade easily by a Piloted Shredder. Moreover, Battlecries in Hearthstone are often (i'm not saying never) pretty bad or cannot be triggered two times when they are good enough.
However, this card is excellent in a mill deck and i'm really impatient to take some tries with a Battlecry Shaman or a Dragon priest playing this card. I've some questions too. Is Cabal Shadow Priest able to steal two minions? When Fire Elemental triggers, does it deal 6 damages or 3 damages and then you target 3 damages again? Logically, if the battlecrytriggers two times, it is two minions and 3+3… but Blizzard's twisted and it may trigger two times on the target you chose…

It's confirmed that targeted Battlecrys target the same thing twice.

Thanks, that is a bit sad for Priests then… I have some other questions that I'm maybe not alone to think about… DoesThe Mistcaller trigger 2 times? Does Harrison Jones make you draw twice? Does Defender of Argus give +2+2 and taunt? If you play Blingtron 3000 does it equip weapons then other weapons? If yes it could trigger Death's Bite for instance… If I play a Tuskarr Jouster do I have to win two times or one?
pls blizzard nerf Frostwolf Warlord so OP pls nerf (Ps: good job on your fancards)
The Mistcaller's battlecry will trigger twice, giving the minions +2/+2
Harrison Jones will draw only once, since by the time his battlecry triggers the second time the weapon has already been destroyed the first time 'round.
Defender of Argus will indeed give the minions +2/+2 and taunt, because the same two minions are next to it the second time it procs.
So for some battlecries, specifically ones that destroy things, Brann Bronzebeard is next to useless. :P
I think Reno changing the game into a control meta will be turned by the possibility of a Brann face meta. This guy looks like it can be so much fun but it sure has me thinking. He is cheap and the body is adequate to survive a turn if played early.
Abusive Sergeant is probably my biggest concern. That will be a lot of damage on a cheap charge minion.
I am looking forward to maybe some unearthed raptors with a possible double egg buff?
From what I have been reading it only looks like the battlecry will focus on the same target. So an abusive sergeant will give one minion +4 damage. The abilities of Big Game Hunter and Cabal Shadow Priest wont be able to target separately.
Tuskar Jouster doesn't need to win twice. It will reveal a minion, then another minion and potentially heal twice.
Mh, i meant: "Does the joust happen two times or does it just double the potential heal/boost?” sorry for the confusion, but you answered correctly despite my error. Thanks for your enlightening post! You did a little mistake… Indeed,Quartermaster costs 5, Muster for Battle 3 and Brann Bronzebeard 3 so… You need The Coin to achieve this combo. Moreover, Emperor Thaurissan is not very good card in Paladin decks so… I think that T9 Justicar Trueheart then T10 Hero Power + Brann Bronzebeard +Quartermaster is more realistic…
The potential for this card has to be in combo decks. Unlike Baron Rivendare, this card can't survive the amount of damage that can be on board by this turn. So, you're better off holding it and combo'ing it with something like Azure Drake or Enhance-o Mechano in certain situations. (Or Tuskarr TotemicLOL if you stubbornly play Shaman, like I do.)
I don't think you can build your deck around this. If you weren't running the battlecry minions before, this shouldn't be changing anything. But its good to have if you happen to be running alot of battlecry stuff anyway like Dragon decks.
Brace yourself boys and girls. You thought Reno was meta changing on its own, well Brann Bronzebeard might have a say in that.
All. The. Possible. Combos. INSANE

Shaman might have a viable deck.

Cabal Shadow Priest doesn't work but in the other hand, Stampeding Kodo or Bomb Lobber kills two times because of the randomness…
Yep, thats how it works! Ben Brode or someone mentioned it somewhere, but I'm too lazy to go look for the post. :P
Potential for a midrange warrior battlecry deck. I think I will try something like that out - in addition to adding Brann to my Dragon-mage.
Will Injured Blademaster just kill himself? LOL!
OMFG hahahaha

Should be interesting with ramp druid decks.

Brann doesn't actually do anything when you play him though. The card is probably just unplayable outside of fringe janky combo decks.
