Last night I had an opponent drop a Stranglethorn Tiger. I had a Ironbeak Owl that I tried to use to unstealth it so I could Kill Command it. The game would not let me do this. Then my opponent used Houndmaster on it, yes, while it was stealthed, and it worked for lethal. So am I missing something? What are the rules for stealth? An enemy can't use a battlecry to target a minion but a player can use a battlecry to target a friendly minion? Seems a bit odd. Been playing for 2 years and this is new to me unless I encountered a bug. Any ideas?
Stealth is menat to be like "My opponent can't see this minion", not "No one can see this minion", I feel suprised that you never saw a turn 2 Gilblin Stalker and turn 3 Velen's Chosen against a priest... it was pretty common in the GvG meta.
We need a return of miracle rogue. Used to be Cold Blood on stealthed Gadgetzan Auctioneer was pretty common, so people had more examples of this kind of mechanic.
I think the issue is that I've seen it happen but not realized it till now. I'm pretty casual so I've not paid as close attention as I could have to this. But you have to admit, it is not an intuitive mechanic. I've seen shenanigans like this with shade of naxramas but was never sure of what I could and could not do with it as an opponent or a player. I think I always assumed if it was a friendly minion I could not interact with it either. This will change my game! Thanks!

Seriously? Played 2 years and didn't know that stealth only affect actions carried out by the enemy?

You cannot target their stealth minions with anything. They can target their stealth minions with anything.
