I don't know if it's my lack of skill or the meta, but, I suspect I'm bringing a knife to a gun fight.
So, what have I been playing? Secret Pally, Zoolock, ComboDruid
Pretty top decks really. I'm not missing any cards. Just getting wrecked. Freezemage, fatigue Warrior, control warrior, Tempo Mage, Face Hunter, Frack, even Mid Range hunter. I'm getting my buttocks handed to me.
Any ideas on what I should be playing? I'm trying to build a control warrior deck and am ONE Shield Slam from having it complete and I'll probably commit to that for a while once it's complete, but, until then what say you?
(I value win% much more than quick games if that helps)
I generally play 2 deck max when I'm climbing. Right now that Secret Pally and Aggro Druid. Both are really easy to play and will get you to legend fast. Maybe you are making some small mistakes. I stream both decks. Maybe I can help you out

Hey guys! New streamer with a small following so I do answer all questions. I don't consider myself great but I have hit legend every season I have played. I'm just your average Joe with a pretty card back :D
Just play midrange druid you should get a positive win ratio eventually with time, it is probably just variance you will get in a winstreak soon enough once you meet your favoured match ups.
Agree - play one deck, learn how to master it. That's the way to go. You can change the decklist from time to time, experiment and get used to it
Good advice. I think I'll do that when I finally craft that last Shield Slam. But for now I'm just kinda flighty. If I had to choose one deck I'd go with Mid-Range Hunter, that's probably been my most reliable option. But, you get tired of running the same deck, don't you?
Not sure what zoo you were playing, I climbed to rank 12 on day 1 after like 18 games in 3-4 hours of playing with the deck in my signature. Didn't really have time to play constructed after that. Will probably climb to rank 5 with it this month since I got no time to grind to Legend again.

You don't have to play just one. Its good to play two decks that are similar. Mid Range Hunter and something else like secret pally or even Zoo lock would be good together

Finished a 10 game run with teh mid range pally. If anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them.
Midrange pally --------------------- Game 1 - Win vs. Mid Range Hunter. Very close game. Defender of Argus kept me alive long enough to win. (still would have died if opp would have topdecked a Kill Command) Game 2 - WIN vs. Oil Rogue. Such a stomping for him. I ended with 30 life and 4 cards in hand. (was dealt zombie, shieldbot, and belcher. Kept Belcher with the other 2. Not sure if wise or not, but, I figured he would be handy vs. Oil Rogue. Game 3 - Loss vs. Tempo Mage. I think I got out tempod.
Game 4 - Win vs. Mid Range Pally. He dropped a Lore Walker out of a Shredder. I think it prevented him from mounting any form of comeback.
Game 5 - Loss vs. Mechmage. Fireball to my face.
Game 6 - Loss vs. Mid Range Hunter. In every loss so far I've had the board and cards when I lost. Sad. This deck is having trouble keeping it's life total high enough. It could be too many weapons or not enough life gain. 5 weapons is quite a bit I think.
Game 7 - Win vs. what I think was Aggro Druid. I only think it was aggro Druid because they dropped a Leper Gnome about turn 8. I had a God hand. Zombie, Shieldbot, Muster, Shredder. I think my Zombie single handedly altered his gameplan giving me an easy win.
Game 8 - Loss vs. Mid Range Hunter. I was just playing from behind the whole game. It happens.
Game 9 - Win vs. Secret Pally. I was able to control the board the entire match. Easy win.
Game 10 - Win vs. Patron Warrior. A couple odd things. This Patron warrior ran Justicar. Also ran Frothing and WARSONG. Wan't that easy of a win, but I got there.
----------------------------------------
Overall 6/10 Pretty acceptable, and much better than the results I was getting with my decks. I think I learned that Zombie Chow is a 2x for about any deck, just amazing in the opening hand. I'll be using more of that.
I also think the deck is a bit weapon heavy, I was using my life too much to gain control leaving me vulnerable to mid-range and aggro. Not sure what to swap out.
Looking at my losses it looks like a lot of Hunter and Mage. Perhaps a Kezan for one of the weapons would stabilize things? Or maybe less heavy handed, an Owl? Counter those Mad Scientists and whatever else you need vs. other decks?
Murloc Knight also looks like a prime target to swap out. Maybe leave the weapons and swap the knight for a healbot or some other heal?

my "secret" is to play tempo mage. I wreck secrets pally with it, and it has taken me to legend in two different seasons.
Been watching streams lately. Lots of aggro druid too.

Try 5 games with each of the decks you are using for now, if you lose more than you win, try totem shaman. I'm on a roll with it right now.
