I'm kind of lost against them and can't find anything to counter... they were already the most disgusting class in Arena and since TGT the ladder is flooded with them ^^
it makes the game way less interesting, when we have only one class left, instead of the 9 that we had before
I even did try a deck with a Flare... you simply don't draw it ^^ and their deck is way faster, than the Midrange Hunter... :/ it was like a 20-80 matchup for me ^^

Um.. by turn 6 it's equally likely that you have flare as them having MC. If you played first, that's 6 + 3 = 9/30 but with 2 cards, so 18/30 chance that you have it by turn 6. Plus the Mulligan factor, which makes it basically 23/30 chance. So in reality, if you go first, you are close to having it 80% of the time if you mulligan for it.
Yeah you can't really make a threat with this title and then list cards that any class can, and does use. I would have agreed with Murloc Knight but technically you can't really play that effectively earlier than turn 5 with coin unless it is safely guarded.

It doesn't matter if other classes can also play these cards. The paladin has the best EVERY turn. That's the point... Minibot Muster Dr6
Not to mention all their answers like Equality, Consecration, Truesilver and a board that fills up every turn. Oh and draw a full hand off 3 mana. Seems pretty fair.

I'll tell ya what I'm gonna give you, Snakes,
I'm gonna give you til the count of ten to get your ugly, yella, no good keister off my property before I pump your guts full of lead.
Is it just me feeling so satisfied with everyone hating on Paladin since TGT?
I'm playing since april '14, Paladin is and was my favourite class from the start, even though it has been in a very bad spot for a very long time. I fought Miracle Rogues, Undertaker-Madness, Handlocks, Control Warriors, Facehunters, Mech-Mages, Patrons and all the other popular decks with my control and midrange decks, it was hard and frustrating at times, but it was all worth the effort. Paladin is in a very nice spot, and i really enjoy that.
(For reference, I am not playing secret Paladin decks and i do agree that Mysterious Challenger is too strong.)

Hier gewinnt nur einer, St. Pauli und sonst keiner.
While these 2 are very strong early game cards and staples in any archetype deck for paladin, you have to take into consideration that paladin has very weak early game removal. There are no fiery war axes, frostbolts or dark bombs which allow you to deal 3 dmg from the hand in turn 2, which is why paladin needs strong early game cards to compete with the opponent. Consecration on turn 4 doesn't do the trick any longer against all the sticky minions like haunted creeper and piloted shredder, not to mention nerubian eggs. and turn 6 equality+consec will not rescue you in a lot of games, apart from handlock, maybe.

These cards are strong in the sense that they are hard to work around against. They all take so much resources just to be removed, and then the Paladin will still have board initiative next turn. They just drop everything and let you do the thinking. They just don't lose board control no matter what you do.
2 - Shielded Minibot
3 - Muster for Battle
4 - Piloted Shredder
5 - Sludge Belcher
6- Mysterious Challenger
7 - Dr. Boom
8. - Tirion Fordring

learn to topdeck flare turn 6 = )
Piloted Shredder and Boom are in every single Secret Paladin deck... Belcher pretty often as well
That's because Boom is in every deck except face and Piloted Shredder is in every midrange deck and it is the best 4-drop in the game.
