I tried this deck this afternoon (I'm in China so it is afternoon now) and it works fine. Creating 4 Patrons at turn 5 is still dreadful for your opponent and the Worgen OTK does work facing control decks other than Control Warrior. Your opponent shall get surprised to find a Patron Warrior winning by using Raging Worgen.
That's really interesting. I figure since filling the board with patrons when you don't have the charge is a decent play, the deck probably isn't as dead as everyone seems to think.
Yes this was a thing before patron decks, but it wasnt as consistent and still aint, cause u have only one thing to do, buff your worgen and kill your opponent, patrons were MUCH more versatile. This deck (or decks focsed around raging worgen) is not bad, but will in no way see as much play as patron decks did, which is not such a bad thing, but poor warsong, +1 dmg for charger? what a joke rotfl. It is now actually literally worse then Raid Leader :D

Actually I win many of the games without drawing worgen/charge.
without patron's versatility this will never be a t1 deck. Just compare it to combo (sometimes called midrange) druid. More than 1 win condition, good stall, good pressure with creatures.. and a simpler combo that is harder to stop
It still does it's job as a balanced combo deck...

I've been thinking about Mad Bombers and/or Madder Bomber in a Patron deck. Actually might work well.
U could spam full board of patrons in the original deck pretty easy already ... the point is, when u dont attack with them the same turn, they can be cleard out and u just dumped half your hand to do nothing. Thats why it only worked with charge, without it, it will be super inconsistent.
+1 for someone with brain. This worked before and will still work.

Yeah it is alive, but all the different win conditions has gotten weaker compared to the Frothing Berserker version. The Warsong Commander "mass charge" made the deck very versatile, and created a lot of ways to OKT the opponent.
The Raging Worgen deck has always been there, but it only has one OTK combo, so it is never going to be as consistent as the old GP Warrior.
But Rampage has some good synergy with Grim Patron, and was a card that I tried to fit in the GP Warrior deck, but as GP Warrior got more and more fine tuned, it became more and more centered around the Whrilwind effects, so Rampage just didn't make the cut in terms of "one turn value". The deck might become viable with one or two cards from future expantions, but as it is now, it is just not good enough to be top tier.
It is going to be like tier 3 maybe. Not a high power deck in my opinion. Too many cards used in the combo for it to happen like 50% of the time and it's hard to win with grim patron as a win condition against lots of decks.
I replaced the Frothing Berserker + Warsong Commander combo with the Raging Worgen + Charge + Rampage combo. I also added some more card draws to increase the probability that you have Grim Patron + Inner Rage + equipped Death's Bite at turn 5~6.

It works the same as PW deck just not as broken. Exactly what we needed with the deck.
Thank you for this nobravery!

+1 for your current title in the forums being Warsong Commander.
Greatness, at any cost.
it's usable , it's by no means viable in high level play. just a worst patron warrior.
It still does it's job as a balanced combo deck...

DayNine played this deck absolutely fine already a longt time ago on Legend rank.

Maybe I am confused with those streamer, gonna look it up, trying it at least.
Not T1 now, but at least alive.

It's dead because everything bellow T3 is dead, it's alive in same way malygos shaman is alive.
I am looking towards Axe Flinger more than worgen for new warrior archetype.

yooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Ur not gonna do as much dmg as with worgen with Axe Flinger, certainly not with same/fewer number of cards.

I've been thinking Bouncing Blade + Axe Flinger could be a thing for a while, but with a stronger combo for Warrior it was never really worth it.
Balancing busted cards version 1.0.
Hehe.
