...instead of making Warsong Commander 100% useless, they could have change it to only give charge to 2 or less attack minions
Although I agree that they shouldn't have killed the card entirely, that still limits their design space. Ben Brode made it clear that they wanted to both nerf patron as well as allow for a more creative design space without worry of OTKs or broken combos with Warsong Commander.
there will always be broken OTK combos as long as there is the card Charge... they go about these things backwards, charge is a problematic mechanic, yes, but only because we cant interact with it in any way and removals are often way too cheap for taunts to be of any use, creative design would be coming up with stuff that would allow us to interact with charge.

I like this! Something like Loatheb and the troggs do with spells, there is room for anticipated counterplays vs charge minions! Like summoning taunts when a charge is played.
However, I do not like interveening your opponents turn because of lag, time rope, long animations etc.
They destroyd fun and skill based deck. Now I can uninstall this stupid game since I can't play my controll decks with all this swarmed cancer facehuntards and eboladins/mages. Iam not wondering why it is, because its fin MOBILE game, and ppl don't want to use brain while on bus or something so they pick huntard, go all face and.... wait for it..... wait for it..... THEY WIN!
Braindead game.... .
Fun and skill based deck? :D you are so funny man, so first the patron was the most boring deck and it doesent required that much skill, all what you need is luck(you draw the important cards) and with a lot of missplays you could still deals 30-40dmg from hand so dont talk about skill..
You obviously never played patron. Patron was one of the most skill-based decks in the "old" meta, because you had to calculate damage, but also every single move you made, cause you were very likely to get punished for misplays.
Of course there were also luck involved, but please tell something about Hearthstone, that isn't luck-based.
Actually, GP was powerful because there was a minimal amount of luck involved in the deck.
And skill? Sure, in contrast to how you play other decks.. But saying GP takes skill is almost an insult to any human being with a brain, since you could easily go onto youtube to learn how to play it, just like you can any other deck.. Saying GP takes skill is some polymorph the fen creeper shit tho.

Can this thread be locked already? It's irrelevant, the change already happened.

I agree with you, that's why i said "Patron was one of the most skill-based decks in the "old" meta". Never said that it took a lot of skill.
