Although, I think that the only thing cooler than playing Hearthstone would be playing Hearthstone on a tablet. Luckily I already have a Windows tablet, so I've got that one covered.
it is obvious that for hearthstone to be viable as a mobile game (even if it is limited to tablets), it will be released for android as well. given that 2/3 of tablets sold are android based (and the number is always rising while ipad market share is falling), blizzard would be shooting itself in the foot if it didnt release an android version. if you would be looking for a great HS tablet look no further than the 2013 Nexus 7 (https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_7_16gb_2013). by far the most cost effective way to get the job done. also IMO one of the best overall tablets available for any cost.

So ive held off on buying an iPad, i now have a few reasons to really need one.
One of the main reasons is to play HS.
I have a few questions though.
From what it sounds like HS will not be available on iPhone?
When they say available on iPad, i assume that would also mean iPad mini?
Im probably going to buy a news iPad, but want to make sure its a model that HS will be released on.
Programmatically there is no difference whether iPad or iPad mini. If the App will work on iPad2 it will also on iPad mini.
If you're only buying an iPad for HearthStone then I would say you shouldn't really go down that path for a few reasons,
Also, the game probably won't be out for a few more months so you'll be waiting a while with the ipad.
What that guy said is totally right.
Only resolution changes, but it's not a big deal the way they did their UI. So iPad Mini will not be a problem ;)
I'll be getting an iPad around tax time. So I'll be able to play HS once I get it.
Your life force, is merely my play thing....It ebbs and flows at my will!

That's one expensive Hearthstone machine.
