So, what class has the hardest and what has the easiest playstyle and why?
As for me, Rogue has the most difficult plays, even aggro. I tried aggro, oil, pirate rogues and all of them works quite hard, it was really frustrating firstly..) Even now I can't say I can play this class, so much left to know and realize.
For the easiest class I pick Hunter. Not because, you know, smorc and all this stuff. I was playing midrange Hunter last season quite a bit, and I can say it sometimes not that easy, you need to make quite hard decisions too. But in compare to other classes there are much less of hard ones then easy :) It's pretty interesting to correctly play traps with high possible value, for example, but the fact is even if you make missplay after another missplay, you still can win simply health race with so much smorcish stuff..
If I'd make a full classes difficulty rating, it would be smth like that: Hunter < Paladin < Druid < Mage < Warrior < Warlock < Priest < Shaman < Rogue
I'd say warrior is hardest, but rogue is right there as well. I like aggro decks so playing control or combo is a bit harder for me. Hunter is the easiest for sure
Warlock is a tough one to categorize. Handlock is a hard deck to play, but zoo is easy, so they cancel each other out
i was debating between rogue and warrior but i ended up choosing warrior for the hardest class, but rogue is up there as well. Decks like oil and pirate are just flat out difficult to win with, theres also a lot of calculations. But warrior shines with the difficult calculating of grm patrons and the battle with control imo puts warrior at the top.
Not much to say, hunter is easiest. Control hunter, not a thing. Midrange hunter, pretty easy(only hunter deck i play). face hunter, wtf. Hybrid hunter, pretty easy wtf. Dragon hunter, eh, its ok. Hunter easy as shit.
Mostly about the class. There are not so many deck types among one class, except Warlock, maybe..
I would have to say Rogue is the hardest, and a toss up between Warlock and Mage the easiest.....with hunter coming in at a very close 2nd. Think WAY back to the first decks you played. You played them because they were easy to understand and you had some of the better cards for the class ( MAGE ).
Although rethinking it.........if ya had every card (I do :P) Hunter is the easiest, and Shaman is the hardest....for me anyway. And NO........... I don't play Face Hunter, but I do play my version of SPally made the day TGT came out, which I still use today ... :P
Actually, as decks hunter are the easiest, but as a class, it's obviously mage. Obvious hero power, no real problems with card draw ((if you put something there). Easy to play secrets, minions easy to play... not that much strategy, and many random cards wich don't suppouse a real risk for mage like flamecannon and lamewaker. Hunter as a class is a bit tricky, beast synergy is sometimes hard to pull off, lacks proper card draw and is by far less solid than mage (problem is, SMOrc is easy, and Rexxar happens to be pretty good at SMOrcing).
Hardest by far is rogue. Combos are really needed to be an effective rogue deck, and many of Valeera's cards need thinking process to be effective.
Rogue is hard as hell because of the numbers of various play you can make every turn and the fact that the rogue hero power forces you to anticipate your future turn.
Warrior and Shaman are hard as well because you have lots of removals but you have to manage them carefully to win.
easiest for me by a long shot is druid and hunter. With those two classes you can close out games from behind / without having board control with the right burst cards in your hand.
the most entertaining class to watch for me is freeze mage and handlock because those two archetypes can constantly clear the board but need to do it efficiently and at the right time.
I'd rate priest as easiest to play, mostly due to how straight forward its removal is, creature has 3 or less attack? No problem; has 5 or more attack? No problem; creature has 4 attack? Shrinkmeister cabal/Pain and laugh hysterically.
also has cards that synergise pretty well with Hero power. Lightspawn, Northshire, Holy Champion, etc. pretty friendly for new players.
Hardest: Rogue and Shaman, but it also depends on the kind of deck.
Easiest: Hunter
Disclaimer: Hunter still requires a bit of thought (damage that I can do now VS damage that I can do over 2/3 turns, time required for lethal etc etc) but it's still pretty straightforward.

Is the question what CLASS/HERO, or play style, is the hardest to play? Seams like people are answering to both.

Easiest is definitely face-hunter, and one of the hardest in terms of thinking/planning intensity is handlock
My battlenet tag isn't actually Penisbong69.
I feel like Dragon Priest and Combo Druid are way easier to play than Midrange Hunter
Warrior as the hardest, because of Patron and the high curve in control warrior... never played Rogue on ladder so far though
Personally, the hardest is Warlock, then Shamrock then Rogue.
The easiest doesn't even need to mentioned, that Huffer smoking potato.

I can only speak from my own experiences but I've found Mage to be pretty fool proof and Shaman to be difficult to win at a high level.

Most rogue decks are combos so need skill and the right RNG to work, unlike aggro decks that just go face like hunter.
