I normally get the odd rage friend request around to rank 20 - 15 range in the early season. And I always accept because it's hilarious to read what people say. But today I received a rage friend request from a top 1000 ranked legend player ( I was Rank 2). I thought legend players would at least have some level of sportsmanship.
I was somewhere in the low 2000s playing a homebrew aggro priest when I beat some guy ranked around 700. Usually when you're playing a ridiculous gimmick deck and people add you, it's to say "ha, crazy deck, is it actually competitive?" Not this guy! No sir, he wanted me to know that my SMOrc cancer was ruining the ladder, I was a scrub, etc. etc.
Can a deck that you've never seen before really be ladder-ruining cancer?
A Pirate Rogue beat me as Dragon Priest when I was rank 7.. he added me to tell me how I got beaten by a crappy deck and "get rekt." I just responded with "oh, you're such a cool guy." He didn't respond after that.
#6 legend rank on EU added me raging because rng when i was around #350 couple seasons back, telling me i would concede if i was decent human being. To be fair it was really unlucky stuff with Knife Jugglers and Unstable Portal into The Black Knight from my side but I was glad I didn't let him the win after seeing his arogance.
Rank 2, told me to get aids and kill myself for being scum lol.

Weird, I always thought rage-friending was more common in higher ranks. I've won 1000+ games between ranks 20 and 10 and am still waiting for my first rage-friend.
Hi everyone,

What's your highest ranked rage friend request?
When i play on EU in legend sometimes 1 out of 2 people adds me after to insult me, on NA it happens less often strangely.
Better looking that 100% of hearthstone players. Thanks.

Forsen.
Do explain? I know they are salty guys.. but are they poor sportsmen?
Being salty is pretty much being a sore loser so yeah.
Y'know, stuff like "Of course you topdecked pyroblast" etc.
Annoying, but not MAJOR unsportsmanlike conduct.
But still.
You'll find any type of personality in any rank.

Maybe I can be your first. :P
Anyone experienced enough to hit legend should know better than to accept friend requests from losers.

they get salty, but they sometimes acknowledge and poke fun of how salty they get themselves.
