This lack of understanding makes HS a game once fun, now a dull place to be. As I've argued elsewhere this game will benifit from a division for Legend: a Legend for aggro/cancer play (this playstyle non to less interactive) and legend for control/combo decks. The first one players can strike each other down in 6 turns, while the latter is more skillful and intelligent interactive play.
If you want to play a skillfully controlled interactive game you now have hard time against retard damage out of hand and dumber charger damage. e.g there is nothing you can do if you play Mage and they have their fireball or pyroblast ready.
This post is so ridiculous and dumb that i don't know where to start.
If you kill diversity you kill the game.
Do you really think the predominance of aggro/cancer non-interactive violence is diversity? It makes the game totaly dull for people of higher education.
No, it makes the game dull for scrubs like you and all the other authors of threads like this one ...
The only dumb thing is to base deck choice on some weird codex (you were the genius with the "declaration of intent", if I am not mistaken?!) and not simply on the power level of the deck if you aim at winning... and if you wouldn't aim at winning, you wouldn't cry your sweet, sweet tears in threads like this one! And the pinnacle of stupidity really is to explain your behaviour with "higher education" ... it is as "high" of an education as a physicist refusing to use a computer because it is "no skill" and whining about other people winning the nobel prize!!!
I personally love when cancer decks are going around. Might take a few deck revisions, but once you learn to beat the meta your golden.
Try ramp taunt druid, double brawl control warrior, or hunter with flare if all you find is this secret pally garbage, even handlock is around 50% vs it atleast and wrecks the other control decks going around.
The one and only answer to that question is: every deck, that kills you while being non-interactive.
At the moment Freeze Mage and Patron Warrior, I would say.
These two decks play an entirely different game of Hearthstone. They stall, they draw and then you die, without being able to do much about it. Obviously such decks don't have a 100% win rate, so it's still possible to win... But when you lose to those decks, you feel like you've been trying to do something, but they just ignored all you did, played a couple of spells, drew their entire deck and one-shotted you.
When it comes to Facehunter and Secrets Paladin, I don't mind such decks. Sure it's annoying being crushed, but you either see it happening over time, or you get the chance to do something about it, if you have the right cards at the right time. I mean, I would rather play around 3 secrets, than see my entire board die in a Frost Nova and Doomsayer combo.
I never understood why some people are so hung up about decks "needing" to be interactive.
The only thing i'm interested in interacting with is your HP, specifically, reducing it. If i have to clear your minions to do it, so be it. But if i can go straight for your face, more power to me, i'd say.
You like to interact? Go ahead, interact all you want. I'll play my deck my way, tyvm.
In other words why are not all cards direct damage, am I right? What's all this nonsense with cards doing different things than hitting the face? Huntard can't understand.
That's a moronic way to look at what he said. He is saying that that it's stupid to think that all decks need to worry about board control, card advantage, yadda yadda yadda... Which is true, you shouldn't have to play the board control way if you want to, you shouldn't be restricted from rushing just because some idiot on a forums says thats not the way he likes to play.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
