play a deck with nothing but giants and a few joust cards. you will win jousts.....about a third of the time. i dont even know how it happens but it always seems to pull that 1 low cost tech card even though 90% of all your minions are 10 cost or more.
Maybe you should increase your mana curve >>>>control
I know, i generally don't use joust cards on my deck, i only use in arena but everytime is the samge thing, for exemple a game i played this week, turn 1 i played gadjetzan jouster and what comes from her? another gadjetzan jouster. I know it's all about the mana curve, but looks like 10 10 mana cost cards in my deck and 1 1 mana card cost in my deck and always comes the 1 mana card.
The cards need to be decent without the joust mechanic; or they need to have a better chance of winning. Either the jouster wins ties; or at the very least a tie should mean there's a rejoust. The only joust card I see being regularly played is King's Elekk. IMHO it's a solid value.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
The good Joust cards are the ones that are fair enough if they lose. Healing Wave, Tuskarr Jouster and King's Elekk are three that come to mind and probably the only 3.
If you've actually never won a joust, either you haven't played enough games with joust or your deck isn't well made to win jousts. Midrange hunter is a perfect place for King's Elekk because a 2 mana 3/2 draw a card 40% of the time is insane. Keep in mind that Novice Engineer was nerfed because a 1/2 was deemed too powerful for its effect.
I also don't like Joust. The times that you are counting on the Joust, you are essentially leaving the match to a coin-flip. The times that you aren't counting on the Joust, it's just a win-slightly-more mechanic. Usually we want mechanics and cards that give us tempo when we play it, and we want it to be reliable.

Highly agree with this statement. Reliability and consistency is key. The only way I see Jousts played more often is if Blizzard buffs Joust effects, but then that just leads to bad game design since it's so RNG based.
Does someone usually win jousts and like them? I don't know but i think i've never won a joust, maybe i'm just unlucky ;/
Maybe... nah nah nah nah

To win jousts you basically need to be playing a deck with 5 or more 5-10 drops and hope you get lucky.
I've enjoyed them a lot in arena, but I haven't played any of the cards in constructed really.
Nothing doing, traveler.

Jousting is a little too inefficient in my opinion. I think the mechanic needs to be reworded a little to:
"Reveal a minion in each deck that costs more than <this minion>. If yours costs more <do something>".
Knowledge of your own deck will allow you to make an educated decision since you can dismiss minions of a lower cost.
Nozdormu wins you every game where you opponent has to go to the bathroom on turn 9.
