Sorry man but you made me laugh.Someone who cant handle, resist a game and someone who is asking for advice at gaming forum just dont deserve anything...I just cannot imagine you in real...wow...you are the reason why other people think that gamers are weirdos....just tellin...i feel so sorry for you and that waste
Your response is not constructive or helpful in any way. The original post was not asking for advice -- it was meant to stimulate an interesting discussion about addiction and gaming, which is an important topic and a very real problem for many people. In fact, if you had taken the time to read any of the responses, you will see that the post has resonated for a lot of people and that there have been many insightful and thoughtful comments in the thread.
You are the one who is a waste my friend. Also, by the way -- your English is atrocious man. Stick to your native language, that would be my first suggestion.
Quote from DocRed35jump and a very real problem for many people.
I mean. The problem here is the same for a ton of other "mental problems" people have. Just laziness. No discipline, no plan, no will to do research.
Just a general philosophy of asking for handouts and "tips" instead of actually doing what you know needs to be done.
Fat people do that too. "Oh I'll start my diet tomorrow, yes, and first I will go ask for advice! That'll be great!" and then they just gravitate towards everyone who is nice and "helpful" ( aka pandering ) to them and they just go back to being lazy fatsos who learned nothing.
You know how to solve your problem, you just don't want to give up the game. You like playing and you're struggling to fit it into your life somehow. This isnt' some deep medical issue that you need therapy for, that's a waste of time and money. Just get your life together, no one can ever do that for you no matter when it comes to hobbies, sports, health, weight loss or relationships.
Your problem: You play too much of a video game. Your analysis of the problem: You're deeply and impossibly ADDICTED to this life-ruining drug and you have nowhere else to turn but to the outside The reality: You're just procrastinating giving up hearthstone or limiting your playing time by instead waiting for people to give you some kind of answer that doesn't exist.
We've all been there in life at some point about some aspect of our lives. It takes hard work to change yourself and the solution is always the same: Set clear goals, plan it out and do it. Starting now. Not tomorrow, not in a week.

Yes. I agree with all of this completely. The only part that I disagree with is "asking for handouts and tips". That's not what I was doing, but I see how it may have come across that way. I even state at the bottom of the post what needs to be done point blank.
I am a part of this Hearthstone community. I felt like sharing what I have been going through with other Hearthstone players. Because most of the people in my actual life don't even know what Hearthstone is. So that's why I wrote.

Someone has no idea what they're talking about. Irony and ignorance are two wonderful things. Though you are the armchair psychiatrist here.
You bring up good points but your delivery is less than sincere and completely off.

My honest advice is for you to dust all your cards in one go.
I think I will be able to do this soon. I've already dusted Dr. Boom. Now I need to dust the rest, craft a golden boom, dust that, then craft the normal boom and dust that too. Then scream "Fuck you Bitch!" At my tablet. Makes me happy thinking about it..
As said before its no big deal, you get a boring card back and ?
I finished rank 10 last season my highest, and that left me in the top 9% so you do the maths on how hard 10 -> legend is!
The hours invested didn't equate to the rewards I got so won't be doing it again, daily quests and deck building are the fun in the game for me, boring same old net decks make it tedious but that's how it is unfortunately
Sounds like you need to just uninstall the game from all sources, your account will still be there when you come back, take a week off and you will re-evaluate that its only a game
When i go on tilt i buy 40 packs then craft a golden legendary, i feel much better after i suggest you try it. Unless i dont get a legendary in my packs then I buy 60 more.
HELLO ! Some very profound comments and good replies have already been written but here is my take ...You might be suffering from chronic disatisfaction rather than the classic case of the abusives ! people like us .. (gaming generation in general, don't know your age but I'm super old) . i started gaming when commodore and amstrad 6128 was hot and heavy .. and witnessed the growth of games in all its forms ( arcade , pc , consoles ) through out 3 decades up until today . i was always fascinated by skills and co ordination and games offered that in large amounts , words like virtuoso and borderline OCD describe me very well, apart from video gaming , i was into running , then bmx , then skateboarding, then snowboarding , then juggling , then magic , a lot of card magic and artistry ( sleight of hand not the gathering ! ) meanwhile earned two degrees and all these while being an avid hard core metal head who listens and likes so many other genres as well. where does this long introduction lead to ?.. i have the same symptoms you have .. stuck on the process of falling in love with something rather than feeling loved back by it, not even one bit . ( ranked rewards don't count yet ! ) Unfortunately this is your driving force .. passion , devotion and it will always spiral into oblivion ... Now lets slide that slippery slope together ! heres the scoop ... try to benefit from the hearthstone addiction instead of feeling down by it . Blizzard likes making endless games and its funny how easy you can get stuck , so all you have to do is fight fire with fire .. i used to be alcoholic and discovered warcraft when tbc was fading and wrath of the Lich king was coming ... i ended up staying at home every night playing for hours and my new ''drug'' had demolished my old addiction .. i ended up with a lot of money because i stopped going out all the time and spending with no remorse , i improved my reactions , decision making and resource management from arena (3vs3) .. and my co operative and '' being part of a team '' skills from guilds and raids ( a symphony of 25 people against a heroic boss is something remarkable ) // took all this and incorporated them at work and i advanced a lot and quickly there too resulting to more money ! Then i became consumed to warcraft as well ,.. 6 years laters , it costed me a bunch of friends, a hot girlfriend and my health ( fatty fat fatty with munchies 420) and lo and behold i found hearthstone . haven't played warcraft since June 2014 and been playing HS ever since . Started exercising again, going out , lost weight , new activities , new friends , new , younger - hotter girlfriend and history repeating it self all over again , the new ''drug'' reigns upon the old one ! Now I'm hooked on hearthstone ,.. stuck at rank 5 every month craving legend and it never ends !!! i admire your courage to state your situation with the game but this a game . its a game ! and it is very tricky , it started as an experimental concept that wanted to offer warcraft players something to relax and take their minds off wow (as new expansions where no where to be seen) a side project if you may and then people started talking about it in trade chat ( warcraft) then in guilds , then came the exclusive alpha , then the beta madness ,then the release ... leading up to Now days ! With HS earning poker status out of nowhere and creating prize pools of 250,000 dollars ! We may never become legend but we are on the top 5% of the server and that has to be something you can be proud of if not happy to say the least ! there is no need for uninstalling and quitting and cold stale turkey situations , try to make your gaming hours your oasis instead of your hell and personified dismay of futility and thats it ! its that simple . quit ranked play for a while developing systematically some happy or nasty ( either way) new activities such as films , music , good food , exercise , vacation , focus , literature and above all a good relationship ! if you revisit this post after some good good loving it will seem so trivial and silly at the very least so .. get in there maggot ! (abusive sgt reference ftw:) i used to get frustrated too about legend too, try hard , over think , feel bad and all that crap but i said to my self NOT THIS TIME ! never again . i simply don't care .. fool me once shame on me .. fool me twice ... yada yada .. if it happens it happens otherwise who cares . Twitch chat ? the Forums ? your CV ? it doesn't matter ... in the end all that matters is the journey Not the destination ! Start having fun again ( make an astral communion deck with aviana or something :D ) all the best .
Best time to quit cold turkey is right before a trip. Plan a few days somewhere and uninstall everything right before you leave. The trip will distract you during the first few days when going cold turkey is the worst.

Don't listen to everybody there, do what you like best. Eventually, things will get more in line with how people perceive you.
There's no point doing something you hate but people see as "objectively" good or constructive.
You only have one life, so do what you want with it. Nothing more horrible than being unhappy.
You want to continue playing all the time? Do it. End of discussion.
