I tried face hunter and played it maybe two days before it got extremely boring constantly going for face, my question is how do you rushers sustain enjoyment for these decks?
I prefer hybrid decks to pure face rush. I play a lot of Demonzoo and mid-range hunter. Both decks are flexible to be board control and then convert to face when the time is right.
I like to occasionally splash aggro... probably the funniest deck I had was a murloc warlock. Suddenly RwlRwlRwl! and swinging for double digit numbers. I prefer the slightly slower fast midrange like tempo mage or 'midrange' hunter, where I have a few more options than 'face face face'
It's fun to me to be on the aggressive side, swinging minions into face is satisfying. And I had no problems with patrons then :3
I like rush decks because I like to be the one pushing the pace instead of reacting to what the opponent does. That said, I think people overestimate a bit how much face hitting these decks actually do. In my experience, even playing Hunter, I still tend to win the most in games where I can keep reasonable control of the board with things like Knife Juggler + Unleash the Hounds, or trading against key minions with Mad Scientist or Glaivezooka, or a well-timed Explosive Trap or Freezing Trap. The trick is determining which minions the opponent plays are actual threats to your game plan that you should deal with, and which are too slow to help them, and I think that leads to a lot of interesting decision making. Certainly more interesting many times than "always go trade" like slower decks do. I think the least fun thing about playing rush decks is that they tend to get countered the most, but I enjoy the strategy.
My lil' secret : When I'm on tilt in ranked, I go in casual and play some aggro decks. I love it. Then back to the serious stuff (aka Handlock/DemonHandlock and Warlock teching).

Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.
The decks are fairly consistent and generate wins. I find them fun to play....so many different combinations and possibilities. Despite what control freaks think, face decks DO require some thought and planning or you run out of steam and or cards.
If you want to beat aggro decks, use a Druid or a Dragon Priest. Those are my hardest match ups by far. I never beat Druids. Their brutal taunts and mana ramping is just too much to overcome. And Swipe is a killer too, LOL.
I dont play face often but I do like to play it when I'm watching something like baseball or twitch and just want something to do with little attention. Im pretty add so multiple activities with little brain power is life

Hey guys! New streamer with a small following so I do answer all questions. I don't consider myself great but I have hit legend every season I have played. I'm just your average Joe with a pretty card back :D

i just think its easy to play and it's quick, but i don't like so much, i like decks that we can se a good game with high cost cards etc
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
Its not only quests, its cold/time relation. From an economical view playing rush is the only thing that makes sense ue to the reward system.

People just want fast games.

I highly doubt this guy has ever gotten laid.
If control decks are stable relationships, then Face decks are one-night stands. Some people like one-night stands.
Hearthstone...I play that.
Music...I make that.
Youtube...I have that.

Winning fast is fun. Losing fast is less aggravating too.
