Pokemon, YugiOh, MTG, etc...if you didn't have the cards, they didn't just give them away for free....why would blizzard? It's literally just $60 for all the wings in every adventure -- the price of any console game.
Maybe this new adventure with 4 wings for 20 dollars may open the way for a decrease to 20 dollars of the global cost of old adventures...It may be a fair discount.
They'll never make it free. As they've already mentioned in an interview some time ago: "you don't need all the cards, you only need 30 to play the game".
1. It's is not fair to people who already bought it
2. I got the last 2 adventures for free. Just get 100 gold a day it is very easy, just play a little bit, in 7 days you have one wing in 28 days you have the adventure
3. Adventures > Packs why? because you know what your getting not a bunch of repeat commons
Why give them a free adventure if they don't even know how to play the game well? Regardless, it is completely moronic to think new players deserve free handouts. Then what? That isn't going to increase any chance of them spending money. This isn't some flash game on a website. Blizzard puts a lot of resources into producing this game and they do it to make money, not to make a special fun time for you just because.
There is absolutely no argument you can make for this that won't sound stupid. If new players want cards they can get them like everyone else, or go buy an $80 game for their Xbox, because they didn't want to spend $20 on this game. If you want all the adventure cards save up gold or save some money. The entitlement is disgusting.
I hardly think that blizzard will cater to the new players that whine about not having all the same things other players PAID for. There's more than enough current players that will continue spending money to make up for that. Next thing you know kids will be crying because somebody just bought a popsicle and they want a popsicle too. Go buy your own damn popsicle.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually does become free, or at least discounted. They've said they wanted to do more to make the game accessible for new players quite often in the past. On top of that, look at WoW. More and more of the expansions for that are becoming free, showing that there is some precedent within the company for this kind of thing
1. It's is not fair to people who already bought it
This is so stupid on so many levels, when you buy a full priced game for 70$ do you complain that it's not fair when the price drops and eventually end up in the 5$ bargain bin? No,because you got it when it came out and the value simply dropped over time with new stuff coming out.
2. I got the last 2 adventures for free. Just get 100 gold a day it is very easy, just play a little bit, in 7 days you have one wing in 28 days you have the adventure
An entire month of hardcore playing just to get an adventure and there's 3 now. That's without getting any packs or playing Arena. You realize how much of a time sink that is? At the very least it should get a price drop because 20$ for an Adventure and 10$ (!!) for a skin is ridiculous.
3. Adventures > Packs why? because you know what your getting not a bunch of repeat commons
Depends. You're still sacrificing 35 packs for Zombie Chow,Haunted Creeper and Loatheb.
Now with the upcoming release of the Explorers League, it will become very difficult for newer players to indulge themselves full into the gameplay. ive gone over this topic before, and i still believe that naxx should be made free now.
The only grounds you have for your side of the argument is really "I don't want to pay". I mean, who does! Brother i'm with you! But Blizzard needs to make money and use their revenue to keep Hearthstone running! There is a huge profit loss if they make it free.

It is free man. Just save up your in-game gold.
The "free" part of Heartstone is intentionally DESIGNED to be grindy and mentally exhausting to make you spend real money, similar to games you see on facebook.
I am a F2P player. I have not and will not spend a dime on the game. As many people have already said grind out the gold and buy it with gold. Hearthstone is supposed to be fun. Have some fun earning your cards and growing your collection. It does not take long to make an inexpensive aggro deck that can get you to rank 5. In the mean time pharm rank 20 for gold, have fun and buy them. You do not need to have all the cards instantly to do well. Earn them or buy them. I prefer to earn.
I don't think anything should be free at this point. What they should do however is allow all users to buy the wings of old releases out of order. A new player don't have hordes of viable decks anyway, they need one or two specific cards from Naxx. If you can choose whatever wing you want in any order that is less total gold. Hell I would even agree that the price for wings should drop to 500 gold for any wing from an adventure that have already had two subsequent adventures released, ie Naxx cheaper after LoE release, BRM cheaper after the next adventure following LoE.
It does not matter how many cards there are, you only need cards for one or two viable decks to begin with and as your collection grows you can expand it to three viable decks. If you look at a complete collections it may look like new players can never catch up, but if you ignore the cards that never gets used a new player is not that far behind in terms of putting together two playable decks.
If the only way you can get new players are free immediate access to top tier cards and decks, then there is a problem. You need paying customers for the game to continue, but you also need a lot of grinding f2p players that have to spend a lot of time grinding to keep the player base and thus opponent availability high and queuing times short.

Dude 100 gold per day is really easy I only play an hour a day and I get 100 gold or more
I say yes. Some greedy people in here feel like, in such a case, they should get a refund. That makes no sense. You don't get a refund when the PS4 gets a price drop. You pay a premium for early access. Plain and simple.
That being said, maybe Blizzard could lessen the sting a bit by giving early adopters 700 gold. That would basically be a free wing in the next adventure.
Blizz could make a sale, like in christmass ou black friday, like 50% off but i dont think it should be free since the game is alredy free, and the cards are still mandatory in game, it not like and old and useless xpack, like in wow, where everything was changed u may dont get enogh gold, but you can choose the way you buy each wing, sharing between gold and real money

They should but this is Activision we are talking about.
They don't really have to anyway, just look at the fanboys that keep defending Heartstone Pay 2 Win microtransactions.
They should allow buying wings out of order
i think it should be discounted, or like the first wing is free. but all of it free? you have got to be out of your mind

eventually yes, when the card pool n expansions are enough that blizz deems it demoralizes new players from starting the game.
