I just wanted to bring a thing im having with people who play CW. my question is.....why are still playing Shield block and not Bash?!?! thats one the main problems i see with most of the player base is that they are scared of change unless someone tells them other wise. Seriously tho i look at alot CW lists and the lack of Bash and people still playing Shield block is a big mistake. just because a card is simple, doesnt mean its not effective. the second the Bash a knife juggler on turn 3, you dont know that feeling. "but pete, you already have weapons for your removal" yes you have your weapons, but dealing 3 extra damage may come in handy. yes it doesnt draw you a card...but if you kill a minion with it, its pretty much 2 for 1 them, killing a minion and gaining Armor.
I just think people dont understand the power bash has given control Warrior and people are using shield block still...
I don't use it because it doesn't cycle. It is a really good card no doubt - execute enabler AND shield slam enabler. But i still like the card draw aspect of shield block. Just my 2 cents though

I feel like the role of dealing 3 damage is already taken by Fiery War Axe. A little extra damage doesn't hurt, but still, most the time I value the 5 armor and card over 3 damage and 3 armor.
I run one bash and two shield block. I need the card cycle from shield block and the armour, with bash I only run one of it because it isn't that often that I need removal that fiery war axe cannot get, but I use it enough that one copy is reasonable.
I think Bash is a great card. I've been experimenting with it in a taunt/tempo/weapon(or whatever you wanna call it) warrior as well as in a control warrior.
I can agree that you loose the cycle by replacing Shield Block with Bash and control warrior is all about the greed(value) and not about the tempo, but my findings so far is that this card provides an easier transition from early to mid-game with the control warrior and it reduces the need for running Brawl (At least from running 2xBrawl you greedy control warriors).
I find that this card provides decent value as well as great tempo and I'm not running any Shield Blocks anymore.
the question is more like. why do people still run war axe? sure it is potential 2:1, but also potential 6+dmg to your face and often the second attack hits face anyway.

Hello everyone

Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"

I honestly run both lol.

in my CW i have one Shield Block and one Bash adds a little more versitility
i run 2 and 2.... i end up cutting armorsmith and make bash my default early game removal
I think both have their merits, tho I think Bash is slightly better of the 2, tho I can see one of each as a good middle ground.
Unless explicitly stated, my posts are my opinion and mine only.

Hearthstone...I play that.
Music...I make that.
Youtube...I have that.

Well played...

Why are you not using both?
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

i run 1 of each in control, too
shield block is fine and all, but most of the time my hand is packed anyway and if it should go to fatigue that's 1 more card drawn
sometimes you just need to shoot over a wall, so bash is great for that :)
2x SB 1x Bash
Bash is still good taking out stuff behind taunts
I think the draw is more important. Options usually matter more to CW than damage output.
I think Bash is a great card. I've been experimenting with it in a taunt/tempo/weapon(or whatever you wanna call it) warrior as well as in a control warrior.

I use 1 Bash and 1 Shieldblock.
people just have different playstyles, some like to be able to cycle cards or whatever. Both cards are decent
the question is more like. why do people still run war axe? sure it is potential 2:1, but also potential 6+dmg to your face and often the second attack hits face anyway.
i recommend my cw list
theres not really any early game removal for warrior, fiery war ax fills that slot on turn 1 (with coin) and 2.
