Has anyone used the MS tablets to play hearthstone? The reason I ask is i'm going to PAX Prime next week and would like to play while waiting on lines.
Right now the only thing on the tablet market that will be able to play HS is iPad. Also the beta hasn;t been able to be tested by player son tablets except blizzard employes wich they actually said that in a Duel between iPAD vs a PC user (the game is cross platform) the iPad won.
Anwyway you might aswell take ur tablet with you and ask them some questions.
I believe using a Windows based Tablet would work. When people think of Tablets, usually they think of the Android OS. A Windows Tablet is a fully functional Windows OS, just like your one at home. I bet it works. Can we have a Blue respond to our PAXiest friend ever. *jealousy monster btw* Have fun at PAX Prime.
I think Surface PRO would work. From what I understand Surface PRO can run any windows program. Surface RT is running windows mobile OS which does not run all regular windows applications. It just have versions of office made specifically for that OS. It's the cheaper of the two but I don't think it will do what you're looking for.
yea the surface pro will work. you can install any windows application you want on it. you can also just use logmein or any other remote desktop application as well. it will look terrible but will work. i personally cant wait until it comes out for android tablets. in my mind it is a when and not an if question. android tablets are such a massive part of the marketplace that it would be a necessity at this point. also, their lower entry price point makes them much more attractive purchases to people on a budget.

I think some people were using certain programs to run it on the tablets, and they said that it worked fine but I am not sure what they were using.
people reported quite good results using teamviewer

I was Just about to mention Splashtop. I've used it without issue to stream many games to my Chromebook. Works like a charm!
