They can't take action. As people already pointed out, in the EU, once a transaction is complete and the goods are delivered, that's it, a done deal.
Wrong they can if they want to. They can ban you for no reason at all anytime they want. You havent read the ToS very carefully it seems
No, they really can't. Online purchases are governed by EU laws, and Blizzard will always cite a reason when banning you. If they cited the reason as "exploiting a wrong price in the shop" they'd be breaking the law.
No they wouldn't. Nobody can be forced to allow somebody else to use their servers. At absolute best you might be able to sue them for the money that you spent on the game under the guise that there was an implicit agreement that you would be allowed to use the cards you purchased to play the game. However:
1. I imagine that is covered pretty well in the ToC 2. It is difficult to quantify the enjoyment you have already got from playing the game with the money you spent and so how much the money you have spent has already been 'used' 3. I have never heard of any legal case of this kind that has ever succeeded and 4. Even if you did have a legal case and had a chance of winning, what are you going to do? Are you going to spend thousands of pounds on lawyers to take on Blizzard, gambling that you might get those costs paid, plus the couple of hundred back you spent on cards? I'm guessing when it comes to the crunch you probably wouldn't.
If you exploited this bug then congrats, enjoy your cheap cards. The chances are that Blizzard won't do anything about it. But honestly if they do you don't have a 'right' to anything, you're basically screwed.
many of those who bought the cheap packs probably paid more money than they would have paid if the packs had the normal price tag
and if it was my account, i would never buy anything from blizzard again if they banned me for that and they would lose even more money, so whats the point?
worst case they take away all your TGT cards and give you the packs you would have normally gotten for your money
Btw, for people claiming google/apple will loose anything, I'd say you'll be dissapointed to know that internal transactions are totally configurated by programmers built that application, and by people managed price creation for items on apps configuration page. I'm iOS-dev, you can trust me on this.
What I really don't understand, is how was this tested? I mean, every developer company has testers, even small ones. In-app purchases can be tested in sandboxes, meaning no real money is payed. I don't understand how company like Blizzard could fail like that.
They probably will not do anything. That would be a shame to bring that failure as high as in some newspapers. I think they will pretend nothing happened just to keep this failure out of people view.
no end of discussion is when I say so. Why would I cry when i m better at the game than 99.9% of people without using random shit like that. I think you are the one that should be crying about your non existent skillset. LMAO
I love how upset you're getting that people are voicing their arguments better than you, so you're trying to bring skill into this like it even matters. People like you are the absolute funniest to watch.

Nope. You have been misinformed. When someone walks away means he lost the discussion. hf being a spectator of life:D
So if two people are arguing and one is clearly winning the argument, and then he goes "I'm tired of this and since you're being shit I may as well just leave to do constructive things in my life" then by your logic he lost.
I mean, if it makes you feel better, think that. Though technically the discussion ends when he leaves, not when you say so, since win or lose there is no longer a discussion taking place.

The only cancer in Hearthstone is its community.

I can taste the salt in your tears.
Wow no blue post on this yet?
I think this is insulting for those who paid the real price.
Justice needs to be made.
Any superior skillset you posses will be totally useless if the dice rolls the wrong way for you, my friend. Such is life, accept it and deal with it.
My battlefield mechanic concept.
My best and worst HS moments after TGT launch!
