I suppose you're just lucky if you bought them for that price... You can't really call it exploiting a bug since Blizzard can't just say that everyone who bought it had to know it was a bug and thus knew they were exploiting it.
I bought me 91 packs for 34 euro. Get 4 Legends 19 epics and 17 golden cards + 2200 dust. I'm so sorry for these people who preordered. They paid more than twice like us. I really want to see the statement from Blizzard. This is the biggest bug i've ever seen in my life. They can't ban us or delete all these cards. It is the fault from them. If they punish us for paying, they get the biggest shitstorm ever. Sorry Blizzard. Maybe next expansion. We love you!
So guys like me who preordered the 50 TGT packs and went through hell the last 7 hours because they could not login or properly open their packs without lagging like shit get even more punished by this stupid mistake?
This is not acceptable. Yeah Blizzard good job fucking this whole launch event up, again. And now youre giving away 7 packs for a pathetic low price but only a small amount of players could actually buy it for that price?
Mistake or not, this is just an awful behaviour regarding the 45 euro preorder and this unacceptable launch of TGT...
Its not an exploit nor a glitch. Its simply a mistake THEY MADE! They wont and CANT charge extra or ban you
What do you mean "can't"? They can ban you for literally anything they like. They can ban you for having a stupid name if they want. You don't have a right to use their servers, they give you their permission to use them when you log in.
Not saying they will but people shouldn't swan around on the internet thinking that they have a god-given right to use any website at any time and there isn't a damn thing anyone can do about it.
I really don't see how this was a bug, there was no exploiting or strange measures on the user's end. Just seeing a good discount and buying it.
In the end I spent around £20 on packs that I otherwise would not have, so Blizzard milked some more money from me, it's completely unfair for those that didn't receive this "offer" though.
If Blizzard do decide to take action regarding this, there will be a lot of complaints to Google/Apple.
Still no official statement from Blizzard, right guys?
And there never will be, well, maybe a standard phrase and then that's it.
I love Blizzard for making awesome games, been playing them for nearly 20 years now, but sometimes their customer service really sucks monkey balls.
Fair thing to do would be: Offer this price for the 7 card bundle again so that everyone can have a chance at buying packs at such an unbelievable discount. (Will never happen)
Blizzard will ignore the whole thing to death. We can scream as we want, it happened and they won't do anything to please the not-so-lucky customers.
And I don't think you guys will have to pay Blizzard the remaining amount regarding discount/normal bundle price, at least not in the EU.
You paid for the goods, you got the goods. Done.
...But damn i REALLY would have liked to buy some of these cheap bundles..
They can't take action. As people already pointed out, in the EU, once a transaction is complete and the goods are delivered, that's it, a done deal.
Wrong they can if they want to. They can ban you for no reason at all anytime they want. You havent read the ToS very carefully it seems
No, they really can't. Online purchases are governed by EU laws, and Blizzard will always cite a reason when banning you. If they cited the reason as "exploiting a wrong price in the shop" they'd be breaking the law.
Not sure about other countries but pretty sure here in the UK if you advertise something for a price and the transaction's complete then that's that.
I bought a good few £1.99 bundles last night after a friend noticed it, good luck to them trying to get any money from me!!
That's not correct.
If the price is a mistake and consumers are seen to be taking advantage of the mistake then the merchant can void the transaction, it would then be the consumers responsability to take the merchant to court to try and claim breach of contract.
Ok fair enough. So at the worst they can remove some of my 5000 dust as I dusted the cards and refund my money?!? Fine by me!
I bought three lots of the £1.99 packs last night.
Honestly, it didn't even cross my mind that it was a bug. I figured it was a promotion - first day of the expansion, way to encourage people like me who would never have bought the pre-sale packs to at least spend something. And it worked!
I realise now that if I'd done a little mental arithmetic it would have been obvious that it was a mistake, but I didn't.
Well, I don't buy packs for real money, but how the hell is buying them at a lower price an exploit? In McDonalds in my country you can buy a small pack of fries for like 5.50, and a big one (like twice the size) for I think 5.90. So should people not buy the big pack because it's more profitable? And how should they know that the pricing is not a mistake? I'm not 100% about credit card purchases, but I know that I had a few cases where at a cash point I was supposed to pay more for something I bought than the price tag said (a bargain that has already finished and they forgot to take a tag off), and after showing that price tag to the cashier he HAD to change the price. That's in EU of course, don't know about USA laws.
2.69€ for 2 packs here (France, Android via Amazon App-shop)... I'm sad :(
Its fixed. Says 7 for reduced price on the button, but not in the actual verification later. Just tries, got 2.
I suppose you're just lucky if you bought them for that price... You can't really call it exploiting a bug since Blizzard can't just say that everyone who bought it had to know it was a bug and thus knew they were exploiting it.
It's all fixed now, back to £7.99 for 7 packs

This has to be a fucking joke right?

Hey. =)
Was perfect to get rid of the spare Amazon Coins from the preorder.
So I bought 5000 Coins for 40€ some weeks ago, and the leftovers from the preorder made another 6x 7 packs thanks to Amazons Coin Back.
I didn't like to support Blizz with paying for the so-called "offer", especially as they made arena random and not TGT only.
But now, 92 packs and a cardback for 40 € is okay.

Got 77 packs for 2.69 € per 7 last night before it was fixed.

Unbowed. Unbent. Unbroken.
Damn, i was too late. Could just get once 7 packs for 2,69 €. Would have spent a lot more money otherwise.

I got 4 packs and then 5th one was 2-pack.
Im so jealous :/
still at work and cant buy any packs for a few more hours.
Gratz at those who did manage to get a lot of packs for such a low price
