side note, it is clearly the Frothing berserker that makes this deck infuriating. and you are 100% right, it is exactly miracle rogue all over again. draw your entire deck, flood the board with bs minions, whirlwind it all 1-2 times with a death's bite equip and hope you have drawn your owl by turn 8-10 depending on if you played tarzan or not.
Because even if you get OTK'd like 3/5 of all your games vs patron, you still play against a ton of other decks on ladder. Whatever, even if patron gets nerfed people will bitch about another deck they lose to because they can't adapt.
The ability to adapt has nothing to do with this. I am able to adapt - I hit legend every season, and I peaked in the top 10 this season - but I still want the deck nerfed. Its frustrating and boring to play against, so it makes the game less fun.
Fun is what this is all about. If winning was all that mattered, then nerfs would never be needed, because we would all just play the same, best deck. That would be incredibly dull, but it would be fair. Nerfs are only needed if a deck makes the game less fun, and many of us think patron warrior does exactly that.
The patron deck is still the most OP out there, people saying otherwise I can only assume play it themselves, or they never hit rank 5+. Patron is not the problem but the combination with warsong frothing is.
It needs nerfing as its a from-the-hand combo, no counter (like the new dragon) will ever be enough. It will remain the number 1 deck in HS until Blizzard listens to it's high end playerbase.

You can't adapt to an OTK. It's the nature of an OTK. Things like Force of Nature + Savage Roar will not kill you from 30 in a single turn. Patron can. A card game cannot have a reliable OTK. Look at every single competitive card game; even the history of Hearthstone. If a reliable OTK comes along [Giant Warrior; Miracle Rouge] it is removed.
For example; from another card game I played before Hearthstone; Yu-gi-oh; there are many cards outright banned because of their potential to enable a reliable OTK. For example; the Dragon Rulers were banned because they enabled a highly reliable OTK. I'm pretty sure Magic does that too, although not as extensively due to format switches. I know Pokemon format changes often too, and it's only ever banned 4 cards ever, most of which because they were promotional; and to my knowledge only 1 because it was that broken [Lysandre's Trump Card]; but that wasn't an OTK enabler [An OTK is impossible by design in Pokemon TGC]
Admittedly it dosen't help that Patron punishes lower cost cards; but if you play none Facetards steamroll you; but Patron will still have OTK potential in a control meta. Perhaps even moreso due to there being more minions on the board for Whirlwind effects to pump Frothing.

So why did they nerf Miracle Rogue? Patron can do damage in a single turn from an empty board that miracle Rogue could only dream of.
Cause of gadzestan being able to draw its entire deck to get the combo pieces. That is why the only card blizzard is likely monitoring is battle rage, which serves a similar purpose.
Those decks in MTG that could OTK on turn one were all nerfed by banning the offending cards.
The ones that are still capable of a OTK are much slower, which allows for interactive ways to prevent the combo (counterspells, etc). This is not comparable in any way to the grim patron deck. Once they have 'X' cards in hand, the game is over, no matter what is in your hand or on the board. The problem with OTKs in hearthstone is that there is no way to interactive with them. MTG doesn't have that problem.

What in TGT is going to stop it? Chillmaw? Nope, that actually buffs it. 30+ HP OTKs are f'n stupid and have no place in the game, regardless of expansion timing.

Patron is Skill, is balance.
Play patron if you want to win, no matter what or how many mistakes you made.
Spam the board and the "hope" for the chest and legend begins.
Lol, but serious, in like 20 matches, i can count 1 good player. The rest are just spamming and hopping.
