if you are still listening to "pros" who have no experience with card games other than HS. why? considering ive played MTG before HS. I dont consider most of the "pros" POV on cards because they are dumb for the most part.
Lifecoach is a great player. Much better than I am, better than 99.99% of the players that play the game. He really is a pro. That being said, if to be as good as him I had to rope every single turn of every single match I ever play, I'd probably have to put a shotgun in my mouth and pull the trigger with my toes.
Inspire doesn't need to be an archetype by it's own. It would be funny if one could come up with such a deck which is viable but we don't need a pure deck from this -> we don't need to pump a deck just with this slow cards.
Calling the expansion a failure which won't change the meta is stupid on so many levels.. Maybe you are right if you say that the meta won't slow down much or not at all but the meta will surely change. Everyone who thinks that there are really no useable cards in this set at all, really doesn't now anything about the game. (I am not reffering to LifeCoach with this comment but to some people in this thread)
ProGamers =/= Pro Deckbuilder.. Hardly any of the top meta decks are really build from the ProGamers. Usually they netdeck and adapt it to their needs. Afterwards the deck is called after them because people prefer to play a StrifeCro deck over a 0815 guy deck (even though the 0815 guy built the deck). Every card which is added to a trading card game increases (theoretically) the amount of possible combinations nearly exponentially. It gets harder and harder for pro players, pro deck builders and developers to forsee the possible decks which people will create after every expansion.
So will inspire change the meta? Maybe not. Will the expansion change the meta? Sure as hell it will. (even the infamous BRM changed the meta by a lot)

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?

I do not even know why people are expecting inspire decks. I mean we never had battlecry decks and the only reason we had deathrattle decks was the badly designed undertaker. Inspire will be used, just not as an archetype, it will be used similar to the other keywords.
People are looking at inspire as an archetype because almost all of the Inspire cards are just really bad value and tempo on their own. They will require either multiple activations (pure fantasy), double dipping with multiple inspire minions on the field (also a fantasy), or instant activation with the help of Fencing Coach.
Playable battlecry cards are just good on their own, and before Crowd Favorite there was absolutely zero synergy between them. Since there are already plenty of playable battlecry minions, no one will be trying to squeeze them into a Crowd Favorite deck just to make them viable. If the Inspire minions they showed us appeared to have standalone value then they would just be normal includes. But with a new expansion people will try to find ways to fit every card into a new deck.

Also, this is a stupid argument. Battlecry has no synergy with each other (again until now we have Crowd Favorite), but Other keywords do have their own synergy. There are decks, albeit weak ones, that are built around divine shield, enrage (you could make the argument that Patron Warrior does this), overload, taunt (soon to be with warrior). Inspire has guaranteed synergy with each other by pressing the hero power button.
All it takes is a handful of the 120+ cards to be really good to cause a change in a decktype or two, which could warp the meta.
There are no clear new decktypes designed into this set. There are some cards with synergies (some of the inspire cards), but a lot of them are expensive and don't play well on curve.
There are some cards that appear to be strong and could lead to new deck builds when combined with existing cards, but I guess we'll see.
I think not only lifecoach but most popular streamers are shitting on this expansion... I just hope that this expansion will shake things up cause the game have been quite stall for sometime and it is becoming boring
I watched Gaara's stream two days ago and he seemed very depressed about the current state of the game and it became obvious from his explanations that he doesnt think that TGT will change the game to the positive. Two things he said stuck with me: 1) "after 3 expansions there are less competitive decks among pro players than before (he was refering to Face Hunter and Patron Warrior as the only viable decks atm) and 2) that most pro streamers he knows neither have fun playing anymore nor it would be no fun anymore to watch tournaments because its always the same 2-3 decks that havent changed for some time now.
Sounds like he doesn't know much about card games, beside playing HS. Since beta the amount of viable archetype has increased with every expansion. Could be true that ProGamers don't have fun with the game anymore but who cares? They can look for another job or just eat it. If he really said that Face Hunter are in all tournaments it is really strange.. Especially since there are hardly any Face Hunters in tournaments at the moment.

This so much. Midrange is much more common than face in tournaments. Not to mention he forgot to mention freeze mage which is still run quite a bit. Last tournament I watched had eboladin, mech shaman, patron warrior, combo druid, freeze mage, midrange hunter, priest, and oil rogue, and control warrior.
i have to say TGT cards are good enough in my book and there are some really spicy stuff with big potential.. high legend players seem to be a bit over-criticizing cards becouse in their book only playable new cards are the OP good cards on their own or those who fit in already existing decks (not many cards of both these types TBH).. but they forget that new decks emerge and just the way everyone dissed on grim patron and nowadays everyone cry about it, there will be another sleeper i bet it.
I love Noxious's reviews. He might not be as "competitive" thinking as the ones mentionned here, but he has such a positive and creative mind it's very refreshing to watch. And even wit that, when a card sucks, he says it. Competitive is not the only thing in Hearthstone.

How frequently do you need the entire meta to change to suit your taste? It took at least a month after BRM to settle down and then we've had 3 and a half months since then of pretty stable meta, but even within that some decks have risen and fallen. If you really expect the meta to change more frequently than that I think you might need to look to a new game. If they release cards every couple months I think a lot of people will get upset and call them too greedy.
He made me realise how mediocre The Mistcaller actually is. Not downright terrible, but not the big Shaman savior people claim it is.
I would love to hear what he has to say about Healing Wave. Probably the strongest, playable card revealed in my opinion.
I think its possible people could be wrong about mistcaller only being ok. Shaman, even after the great new tools they got, depend heavily on eeking out huge value from cards they drop. and extra 1/1 in every other card they drop from their hand could be huuge. Think about belchers for instance, they now trade into 4 health minions and it has 6 health, thats insane. The potential to trade up and into more minions is pretty huge for shamans i think, not to mention it goes well with windfury too. al akir with one rockbiter is now a savage roar combo.

Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"

Then they shouldn't play card games, that's kinda how it works... Even magic would work that way if they didn't constantly rotate sets in standard.

I would like Strife but...his accent is so damn annoying that I have to mute the sound every time he speaks.
I watched a lot of reviews, but the only reviewer I trust to be acurate is ADWCTA for arena.

Hello.
i remember his mistcaller crit.... he suggested murlocs.
Regardless of everything it will be a fun first two weeks, before you start seeing the same decks again and again once more.
I've been an arena player for most of this year, can't really relate to people that really care what is the best.
He made me realise how mediocre The Mistcaller actually is. Not downright terrible, but not the big Shaman savior people claim it is.

The truth Shaman savior is the Totem Golem. Scapes from most early removal and gives you a solid board control since turn 2.
I will crush you!
