I think Blizzard should implement quests that require you to use a specific type of deck or a specific card. This would encourage a wider number of cards being played on ladder.
A simple example of this could be - 100 gold "Win 10 games with Foe Reaper 4000 in your deck". However with some imagination you could come up with any combination of themed quests fairly easily I'm sure.
These could be run instead of daily quests but I would suggest they be implemented along side them as weekly or even fortnightly quests.
Do I really believe Blizzard would give us even more ways to get free stuff? - maybe not but it would encourage people to have a wider collection of cards so they could complete all the quests available and thus fuel the purchasing of cards. If I've learned anything about players of Blizzard games - we hate to miss out on stuff, whether that be impossible to get card backs or simple quests for 50-100 gold. So I think it would be in Blizzards favour to encourage people to have a larger collection of cards rather than just crafting the best of them.

How to become ∞ at arena: - practice, practice, win, dominate, profit.
That's better, goge, but it still means that you can easily end up in a situation where you flat out can't win a game. THe class ones are already cases where you can end up pretty screwed. Priest/Paladin was a nightmare for me for a long, LONG time.
Thus it can't just be different quests, but ones that even new players can actually WIN. we're looking for variety, not a desperate challenge.
Most people won't play those decks on ladder if they aren't forced to do so for completing them. But of course some new quests would be great. Maybe some more uniqe ones.
so instead of playing 30 "good" cards, you play 29 and maybe a crappy one ... i dont think, this would encourage deckbuilding, if you change only one card. you can just look, in what of your existing decks, it would harm the least
The quest with Foe Reaper would be pretty unfair - a lot of new players cannot complete the quest.
I really like the initial idea, though. The daily quests have gotten really boring.
Easy, the minion required in the quest is selected from the players own Collection, randomly.
That makes sense. XD
Still not sure it would be useful a quest for a different reason.
"Quest recieved: Win 5 games with Nefarian in your deck"
Easy. Face hunter...WITH NEFARIAN!
Mulligan away Nefarian, never use him. Win game normally with face hunter.
Perhaps something more flexible but woul dmake a bit more impact.
"Win 5 games where at least one card with (effect) has been played."
i.e. "Win 5 games where a minion with Taunt has been played." or "Win 5 games where a Dragon has been played."
Yes, still means I can do face hunter.with annoy-o-tron, but actually PLAYING the card makes an impact. 'effect' instead of a specific card to mitigate RNG. I can put a batch of dragons in my deck to be sure I can play at least one. "Play Nefarian" means lots of games where I didn't get to play him, which sucks.
Or "Play 30 minions with taunt." or "Play 30 dragons."
Actually ilke that one a lot more. 30 taunt deck FTW!!!

20K G's saved up every new expansion.
There should also be a system that makes it so that you Can only gets quests with cards you have.
How about "Win 5 games with a deck that consists or 30 different cards" (only 1 copy of each card basically)
This could also be used as a brawl idea.
Tavern Brawl quests? Win 5 games of Tavern Brawl 60g
