Every time someone ropes against me and it's an obvious play, I do the same thing right back at them. No matter what. 60% of the time, I get an "I'm sorry," and we go back to playing like civilized people. 39% of the time, they realize that they're being counter-roped, and they cave and play like normal. 1% of games, I play with every single turn roping, and I laugh maniacally the whole time, because I have literally never lost a game that played out like that. xD

I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
I did this once against a Face Hunter spammed like 10 emotes before I squelched him and start to rope after I gained like 12 armor from Armorsmith. We roped against each other for like 3 turns or so and he left the game.
it's too bad HS isn't rated over 18,because it would cut down on the kiddies who play this game and complain about everything.
and FH isn't even that good of a deck right now.if you lose to it a lot,it means you are bad at this game(or are playing decks which are weak against it of course).just play something else,it's easy.

Dude in NA, everyone plays 18 + games so even making it 18+ will not stop people from playing but attract even MORE Kiddies :/

Intentional slow play is intentional slow play. This person should be banned from the forum for encouraging intentional bad manner. People have the right to play facehunter just as any of you have the right to play fatigue whatever.
Of course, roping is not against the rules. It simply reflects on who you are.

"Playing Face Hunter isn't fun, that isn't an opinion, this is a fact [..]" Lol you rope guys are such a ridiculous bunch of douches. I can't do other than imgagine you as fat little kids who were bullied in school all day. (most likely I am even right with that)
My main deck is a Handlock, so you can't call me an aggro player but from time to time it is just fun to play different aggro decks too. Yes, a really aggro deck like Face Hunter becomes boring after some games (unlike Handlock for example) but if you play it a few games every few weeks it is still funny and while it require very low skill to play it, you can still improve your playing style like with other decks..
Roping to piss people of is just an abuse of game mechanics and if too many people are starting to do it, it should even be punished with temporary ban, since the only purpose of this tactic is to worsen the game experience for other people. I personally really hate fighting Freeze Mage (it is just a pain in the a** if all your minions are frozen for x amounts of turns and if the game takes about 40minutes) but I would never do something that scummy to make their experience worse.
Anyway sometimes I allready encountered people who were roping a lot against me.. My usual response to such people is to rope by myself.. Mostly those kidos start to spam emotes if you let them taste their own medicine and stop roping after a while.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
Best way to win as facehunter, do your entire turn and the burn the rope, not only are you pretty much guaranteed to win at lower ranks because facehunter is stupidly easy at those ranks, you are also increasing the chance that they will forfeit and give you a free win because they dont want to waste their time. Fool-proof.
The sad thing is, it is very difficult to prove "intentional roping". I would have to admit, sometimes I go to roping too. I play a lot of combo decks (Malygos Rogue/Shaman, Gadgetzan Auctioneer mage/Rogue, etc), and when "the future is not as clear", as I would like to call it, I would take a lot of time thinking without even knowing until the rope starts burning.
In M:tG Pro-Tours or tournament matches, there are judges that actually observes the play time of players. And when a player is accused of "Slow Play", the judge will make observation on said player to see if he/she is taking unreasonable amount of time to make plays. The player may receive a dis-qualify for such an act.
But we can't have that feature in Hearthstone, so...

Actually we can notice it, not all the times but its possible for example when my opponent every turn did what he want in the first 10sec and than just let the rope burn. I think it deserve a ban. And it can see clearly my opponent just want to make my game painfull, boring with this retard behavior(happened yesterday i played controlish warlock)
We can of course notice it, but it is hard to punish players for roping simply because it is hard to judge whether that player is trying to BM his/her opponent. Maybe the person got a phonecall, need to go to washroom, being nagged by parents/wife/kids/dogs or something. That's why we need to push for positive behavior, instead of "because you BM me so I am gonna BM you twice for good measure".
Am I being naive to have such thoughts?

Or he was just thining about his other turn and your possible turn and so on... This thing is actually very simple rules are: "You have 75 seconds to do your turn, and you can end your turn sooner if you wish too." There is absolutely nothing here for which the opponent would deserve a ban. The fact that you don't like what he is doing is not a reason. You could also want to ban players who plays decks you don't like by that logic.
What we are arguing here is not about this behavior is ban-able or not, or whether it is worthy of a ban. The OP is intentionally talking people into doing what the player base have accepted as a bad manner behavior. The OP's reason for doing so is to punish someone's deck choices. That's totally different thing.

Problem is (unless you can read minds) you can NEVER tell if someone is roping because he wants to piss you off or because one of million different reasons. And even if he does it to piss you off, he is not breaking any rules! You can hate the person, think he is a jerk, but you can not punish people for not doing anything forbidden!
We are not talking about whether the OP breaks rules or not. It is the attitude that OP takes when dealing with something he/she personally does not like, that's what the problem is. The OP deliberately encourages people to use Slow play, a form of bad manner behavior, on other players simply because of deck choices.
"...And even if he does it to piss you off, he is not breaking any rules!..." man, again with this argument. A person who deliberately does something to take away the fun of other people is a griefer, and should be expelled from the community. Choosing to play facehunter is, afterall, just a playstyle for certain types of players. It is not like finding a loophole in the game and exploiting it, taking away other people's fun. On the contrary, the OP chooses to do a certain bad manner behavior, in the form of slow play, to intentionally make another player's experience miserable. That's griefing. A healthy society have no place for this kind of people. I encourage you to have a look at this article. Do not let the griefers get away with it, or they multiply, and you will end up swimming in a cesspool.

I have 75 seconds to make my turn and i can spend it as i want to. I dont break any rule of game. This is not my problem if my opponent does not accept it and want to quick game . So u guys who say that ropers deserve ban are funny (even if they doing it intentionally). This is part of game and you need to accept it.
