If you don't want ropes than play smart. There was this game where my opponent played Abusive Sergeant on an empty board and i played Explosive Sheep. The most logical thing to do is kill the Sheep with your Abusive and then play whatever minion you want, right? He thought otherwise: he went face with the Abusive and played Arcane Golem with the Explosive Sheep on the board. Tell me that's not rope material! Anyway, Lifecoach does it every turn no matter his opponent, so yeah, tell him he's not fairplay.
What turn was it? What were life totals? How many cards were in his hand? What class were you?
The problem with concepts like "card advantage" and "favorable trading" is that not all decks equally respect them. The whole point of Face Hunter is that it uses a Philosophy of Fire-esque strategy where each of its cards directly translates into an amount of damage. If you were low on life or if he didn't believe that his Golem would survive anyway, it makes sense to go face there.
I also tend to rope burn face hunters when I'm laddering and I don't even feel bad. If you want to play your brainless vomit every topdeck on the board deck and win in 5 turns, those 5 turns are going to take you at least 8 minutes.
Roping is not cancerous behavior, you have the right to take your turn at your own pace. I do it all the time against face hunters that are so dumb to not trade their 1/1 into my 4/1. The only counter to rushing is slowing down, so that's legit. I'm not even kidding with this one.
this suppose to be a dinamic and fun game. roping all turns when you dont use that time to think its a unfair behavoir. btw I usually play mid range huntard and hybrid, when people do this to me i just use it on my favour rethinking all my options (at the end i win in the same way xD)
I really hate mid range and hybrid hunters ... but still, you are completly right :)
Its ok if you have to choose between your cards and try to make the best decision and that takes your turn. But there is a lot of retard skilles player who rope everyturn because he can(and try to force the enemy aggro deck concede with it)
You are worse than a facehunter if you just rope every turn. Ofc maybe you have to think and it takes your whole turn. But if you do it every turn(to piss of your opponent) you are just a retard who cant handle a hunterdeck and being douchebag.
You just can't get enough can you? You made your point but continue you reiterate your opinion? YAWN.
to be honest i think we can all agree in two statements:
1. nobody likes roping usually
2. face huntar is a problem for all the players who try to be innovative.
here are my thoughts about that: first of all the facehuntar is part of the game (which makes me sad sometimes - but thats how it is - and you have to be aware of this) - if you really get them like 60% of the time swap to ctrl warrior or sth like that
i once created a shaman deck only to beat the shit out of them by using all heall you can get and all taunts like annoyotron and X-21
Roping on purpose on the other hand is only Bad Manner - nothing else - and this happens even in the pro scene - because yeah - often its also mindgames what wins you the game - thats all part of the game although nobody might like it
if you consider HS as some kind of sport then this is like making a foul in sports - but thats okay its part of the game
If someone is playing face hunter against you, they're winning and you start roping - you want us to believe that in that situation anyone would think: "Hey, I'm gonna lose a star, potentially throw away a winning streak, but I'll still rank up faster if I concede this game, and move on to the next." You're dreaming, and making stuff up.

I too, have a full proof plan against Face Hunters. The instant I see the dreaded Arcane Golem (turn 3), I pull the telephone line out of my modem, and scream "man exists to destroy, not to create. With this act I banish thee, yea unto the void itself". Then I smash up my computer and stare into the abyssal darkness. It's not 100%, but it is effective.
i tried to rope the stupid paladin and brainless hunters for the last days.
1.it sure made me win at least 1 game because of actually realizing a better trading move or a better card choosing, and if i would just play the first moment i see a good play without watching the screen for 40 seconds i could lose the game ,so it is helping.
2. face hunter isn't fun. it seems like an opinion but it is a fact just like the fact that face hunters are annoying. that mean people who play this do it only for winning, so i dont mind to win them with a tricky way as well.
3.because they play really fast , it makes the real players to play fast too (psychology or something) and that lead to mistakes. the same way roping them , makes them to play in their fastest way because they want to finish the game as fast as possible (they dont enjoy with you :)) so they dont make the best plays too.
4.i didn't lose any game when doing this. also need to be said, no opponent has conceded too! that shows it does help you win (it even makes them feel they mustn't concede to this roping trick, even at the stage its obvious i will win).
5. no1 ever wanted to play against the same guy if it was a face hunter or a stupid paladin, and no1 ever thought he played well. thats not what happening in normal decks even when you lose.

what I hate more then facehunters are people who intentionally rope!!!
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
Face hunters are scum looking to quickly rank with their shit tier braindead deck. Please continue to rope burn them so less of them exist, thanks.
ok guys

If 90 seconds of waiting frustrates you, you may have ADD. Commercial breaks on TV are this long and I dont see people losing there shit over that.
Freaking MTV generation, i swear.......

That's called brain damage. Mostly caused from over exposure to commercials and what not.
