I've seen so many people complaining about TGT saying everything from the cards are weak and pointless to a lazy design and a power creep.
What do you think people would be saying if the expert Classic cards weren't released yet and they were just coming out now as an expansion? (for fun you could put yourself as one of the trolls :D)
"Why do Rogue's always get such crappy cards, Edwin VanCleef is such a bad legendary this class hasn't been viable since beta."

How to become ∞ at arena: - practice, practice, win, dominate, profit.
We really haven't see much of these cards in action. People are being dismissive and should reserve judgement till more gameplay is revealed or until release.
This is a little hard to do because what would the current deck archtypes be without the classic cards?
Its hard to say 'oh this would be great for handlock/face hunter/etc' because no deck types would exist without the classic cards. youd have a card pool of waht like 150 cards across all classes?
"Err... I would just like to say that... err... from a player's perspective... err... this card game launch will be a failure.... this is not a true sequel to WoW.... Why Sylvanas Windrunner die to control another minion? She should come down and take control.... errr... and Cairne is the bestest Character of all time, and now you just give him a son? .... you f**ktard or what... err... this game will die in 3 months ppl.... don't invest...."
"I have been a WoW pro player since beta, Main tank of Top guild in Icecrown US, and I am here to tell you that you are doing warrior wrong. You should give Shield Wall that reduces damage taken in coming 3 turns by 50%. There should also be more weapon choices aside from just Axes. The fail in implementing Quel'serrar is just wrong. The character choice is also disappointing. Instead of that traitor who dare claims himself an orc, you should elect Broxigar as the true warrior character. If these terms are not met when the beta is launched, I will lose all my faith in Blizzard Entertainment as a company and will cancel my Subscription in WoW. With my departure my guild would be left with nobody to tank, and will soon leave the game as well. If you do not want to see your subscription number to take a large dip, do the right thing. Do it now."
"As a pro magic player, 9 times qualifier, 7 times GP top 8, I must say that this game is but child's play. The fail of not introducing discard as a balance mechanics will soon become obvious. Cards like Ragnaros the Firelord, Grommash Hellscream, Cenarius, and so on, can only be described as "1-dimensional" and "lacking the depth to be a true strategic card game". Many creatures like Leeroy Jenkins (god knows what that name means) are just vanilla creatures with a twist to make it seem more enticing, but ultimately is just going to do damage to each other. These creatures trading and face bashing is not going to give people the good juice of card gaming fun. The lack of interaction during your opponent's turn means that you are just sitting on your arse watching a replay of somebody's action, and as such, is not very intriguing. Blizzard is failing so hard on this launch, I am not sure how they will overcome this fiasco."

This guy nailed it. It's impossible to even guess what the meta would be like without all the decks that made the game what it is today.

The main mistake people always do when new cards are previewed, is judging them according to how well will they fit in current deck archetypes. That's why Grim Patron was considered gimmick. So you should always think what the meta WILL BE after the release, not HOW WILL IT CHANGE. Like from the blank sheet.
So if I saw Classic cards previewed today, I'd say that Warrior and Druid get the best cards, and most trash class should be Warlock only viable because of gimmick demons (because it takes time to understand how Handlock could work).

Geee... you're spoiling all the fun.
Ok let's pretend that we've got all basic set cards (the free ones). And the expansion is bringing in everything that's "dustable" (commons, rares, epics, legendaries). The meta would probably be board control and minion buff oriented (apart from Mage, who's got the best basic spells imaginable - mages would be all about tempo). Minion choice would probably rely heavily on stats rather than combo potential.
I'm gonna make a self-aware educated guess about the card that would be considered garbage / OP based only on theorycrafting.
The Savage Roar combo is pretty obvious. And with the meta being minion oriented it would be pretty clear that you'd just flood the board. A lot of people would, however, bitch about how the combo is late game and that nobody will ever survive that long.
A lot of people would probably overvalue buffs (Mark of...) and direct damage (
Crap - I wouldn't say anything would be automatically considered crap. wraz z odsetkami ustawowymi od dnia Keeper of the Grove or Nourish perhaps... on second thought - definitely Nourish. Nourish would be considered crap.
Hunter:
OP - Unleash the Hounds. And rightfully so. Although I think it'd be used as card draw and not board clear (what with all the nerfs it went through)
Crap - secrets. Why on earth would you play secrets when you can legit hit the enemy's face? Especially - Freezing Trap. That shit's unplayable.
Paladin:
OP -Equality. Again the combo is pretty much out there.
OP - Lightspawn. Come on, we can all see it in our dreams - all the Divine Spirit OTK combos.
Crap - Circle of Healing. Well... maybe not technically crap, but certainly undervalued (Why would i hurt my own Auchenai?)
Rogue ... I'm just gonna go ahaed and say we'd problaby mis-value all the cards like Prep and Shadowstep. SI;7 would be considerd quite good though.
Shaman:
OP - Unbound Elemental - obviously
Crap - Al'Akir - obviously
Warlock:
OP - Summoning Portal
Crap - Doomguard (why? because Summoning Portal would require you to have a full hand "Doomguard doesn't synergise with Summoning Portal so it's crap")
Warrior - warrior would problably undervalue everything that's based around armour. Armorsmith = crap.
Well I think I could try to recreate what I tend to read on the forums here when regarding Shaman.
"Really Blizzard? Why do you hate Shaman so much? All you ever give us is overpriced shit cards with overload. None of these cards will ever see play I can tell you that a fact. Lightning Storm? Seriously? That is such a joke card as its just a shittier Consecration."
"Doomhammer is frankly awful for the 5 mana and 2 overload. Its just a terrible card that no self-respecting pro would ever use. Man, Shamans got screwed again."
"Al'Akir the Windlord is way too slow. You'd be dead before you got a chance to play it. Plus its got awful stats and not a lot going for it."

Who can take your trash out?
Stomp it down for you?
Shake the plastic bag
and do the twisty thingy, too?
