So for the third season in a row I get to rank 5 and I see one face Hunter after another. People should be ashamed of themselves playing that brain dead bs but I'm not here to babyrage (and yes I know there is a salt thread). I'm here to try out some new decks to counter this nonsense. It should be a good enough deck to hold its own from rank 5-legend. I've thrown together some priest anti-aggro decks but I was hoping someone could suggest something more refined.
No it's not. I was playing Handlock when I started seeing nothing but hunters. It's 50/50 at best and the Handlock needs the luck of the draw. Im thinking taunt Druid.
Thanks for the replies guys. I would go CW but Alex is next on my craft list and it be too half ass without her. I'll build a ramp Druid and hope the face hunter wave keeps up. I would like nothing more than for a face Hunter player to drown in his own tears.
currently i'm playing a sort of anti aggro handlock that uses two zombie chows and two antique healbots, and i hardly ever lose to rush decks other than aggro pally and face hunter(pally has equality and FH simply has too much damage),and i still have an ok winrate against those two(around 55-60%.the deck does suffer a bit against control decks due to this teching against aggro though.
if you want a deck that's specifically designed to beat aggro try playing grinder priest, but keep in mind that you will have a hard time against every other deck archetype.control warrior is good against aggro and against most other slow decks,so if budget is not a problem for you,go for that.
I had a self-destructing Warlock deck which used a lot of board clear (Unstable Ghoul, Explosive Sheep, etc.). The problem with that deck was that I largely blasted myself right into second place.* My thought for the deck was taunts and board clear, taunts and board clear. It may work against Face Hunter, but again Patron Warriors... meh...
Still, I think there's some potential with the deck. Maybe with some Antique Healbots and/or [card]Earthen Ring Farseer[/card]s the deck may fare better than it did historically.
*(I Would lose terribly.)

The sad truth is when face decks have good draws there is no deck which can stop them. But try taunt druid.

What about the Echo Giants mage? Pretty solid against face decks, but struggles a bit against druid and rogue.
Play Pally 24/7 plz, so I can farm u 24/7 =)
