Maybe I'm only one who finds it annoying but I think last days forum has become overflowed a little. As beta has already started we have much more users here (it's usually more then 100 logged any time and it will increase)... ... and I don't know if it is because of contest (Member Loyalty Beta Keta Giveaway) or something else but it's like everyone wants to write something... ... and finally we have hundreds of post like "thank you", "it's great", "I agree" etc.
I don't know if you see my point of view but sometimes it's annoying when I refresh the page after 1-2 hours and there is many new posts and in fact 40% don't give any added value to the topic.
Hope we make our lives easier starting to post only if we can share some knowledge, opinion or ask about something you can't find already on forum. If you want to thank someone for good job or help etc. better is to use PM to save time for us all. Does it make any sense for you ?
(and yes I know I did some of such post myself before but that time the community was more intimate)
I disagree. I'm personally glad to see that people are being more active, myself included.
Sure there are a lot of posts without anything really being said, but that's how forums are. If someone answers a question posed in a thread, the appropriate spot to thank that person is in the thread. Doing so brings resolution to the question for others that have the same issue.
I like it. The whole point of a forum is to get people discussing and talking about subjects, and that's what's happening, even if not every post is a quality one.
The contest may have drawn in some people making less then stellar posts, but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of people that are making actual good posts, and trying to participate in a normal way.
I can guarantee you that if you see posts that you feel are spam that a simple report post will get it under Moderation attention and dealt with (if necessary).

If you see a bad post on the forum use the report function under it, so I or someone else of the moderation team can take care of it!
I am a long time lurker, created an account almost as soon as Hearthpwn.com went live, but never posted due to the fact that I prefer to stay awhile and listen. I learn more that way. Yes the contest of loyalty is making some people creates post that you might judge non-valuable, but then again an active community is not only set by the informative/useful and knowledgable posts, but also by people who interacts with others. Else, well that just becomes an Elitist Forum.
This is a good problem to have, in my opinion. The amount of increased traffic between the day before beta and the day of beta was certainly surprising to me, but its exactly what I want. The community has grown tenfold over the past few days. Its great to see even more people sharing their thoughts on cards, or sharing completed decks.
There's honestly a ton of repetitive, useless stuff being posted within the past day by people trying to get their 15 posts for that giveaway. Lots of "cool", and "awesome", or copy/pasting an answer to someone's question that was already answered many moons ago. I was tempted to start reporting some of it at one point, but then gave up when I realized how much time I'd have to invest doing so.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind an active forum at all; it's just the thoughtless drivel that becomes frustrating.
Oh well. It'll die down soon now that they don't have any incentive to keep posting.
Forums are better with active posters and more people discussing. Who wants to post on dead forums? I'm pretty sure pulling readers out of lurkdom was the entire goal of the giveaway.
And yes, surprisingly the forums are going to be more active once people can actually play the game they're interested in. I imagine it's going to keep increasing as the beta picks up momentum and will have a huge influx with the game goes live. An exclusionary attitude isn't benefiting anyone.

Plus, this is the way of forums.
I see your point. Looks like I just need to adapt. So then - thanks for your feedback guys and keep posting ;) cheers
A few days before the beta was launched this forum was practically dead, I am glad it has a little more action.

personally, i say its great marketing
if a forum has exclusive content, contests, give away and etc to attrac/increase the population, i think the forum/mods are doing a great job
