Lately I've been struggling to climb the ladder (stuck on rank 11) with my Patron Warrior (most of the cases I'm just unlucky with the draw), and I just wanted to take a break from warrior a little bit.
I never hit legend before, and I consider myself a casual player becoming hardcore-ish in the last month.
The legendaries I own are:
-All the legendaries from BRM and Naxx
NEUTRAL -Dr Boom -Sylvanas -Ragnaros Toshley
WARLOCK -Mal Ganis
HUNTER -Ghaz'rilla -King Krush
WARRIOR -Grommash
Currently I'm running mostly my Warrior, but I've used Demonlock before since I own Mal Ganis. I've been thinking about going Handlock, since I've seen so many crushing decks, and I have most of the cards needed to run the deck, needing only to craft a couple Mountain Giants, which would make me spend 800 dust, that I also have to spend.
There lies my problem.
I could also run a priest deck, that I miss only a couple Cabal Shadow Priests.
I played handlock for maybe 120 wins, and found that Jaraxxus was pretty much mandatory considering how many times it saved my ass (countless times), I got mal'ganis later but found he didn't add much to the deck. youll want those giants tho too
Both are good decks, but I prefer Handlock to ladder up. Handlock is more consistent and have a lot of good matchups in current meta. But it's obvious that you need to craft Lord Jaraxxus too, it is important in some situations.
First of all I would like to thank everyone for the answers, you were all polite and helpful. I'm new to the website and I'm finding the community to be mostly awesome, thanks a bunch!
@KKoolis - I also think that Priest is an awesome class to play, and I feel like I would have a lot of fun playing it, I'm definitely looking at the possibility of crafting 2 Cabal and playing control priest, I think I'll love it.
But for now, I might be going for Handlock, since it's apparently a easier way to climb the ladder, which is something I've wanted for a while. If I disenchant Ghaz and King Krush I'll have the dust I need to craft either Jaraxxus or Alexstrasza, but the question is that is it really worth it? I mean, Ghaz and Krush don't see ANY playtime, but they are cool cards and could they be used in the future?

You need to ask yourself that question if its worth it or not. No one here knows what type of expansions are coming out in the future and which new metas will develop, but know that some type of event/expansion happens every 2-3 months or so I think? So whether you think its worth it to DE cards that are never used (right now but could be used in future) for decent handlock deck, is completely up to yourself to decide. For me, I learned a while back to stop DEing my legendaries for decks who are great in current meta just because metas change, seems counter productive to keep doing that imo.. I know theres been more than a couple legendaries I DE'd my first like 3 months playing which Im kicking my ass over now. But handlock as been strong since the beginning and could continue to be for a long time.... So I don't know man. Up to you
I'm still thinking about Jaraxxus and I'm currently playing a version of Handlock without Jaraxxus, the same deck Lifecoach uses. He replaces Jaraxxus with Ragnaros, I'm having SOME success with it so far and I'm having a lot of fun. Still thinking if I should DE my 2 hunter legendaries for Jaraxxus , but that can wait till next month!
Thanks a lot everyone!

Which deck is better for ladder climbing?
Thanks in advance!

My battlenet tag isn't actually Penisbong69.
Read the first few lines then skipped the rest sorry. I hate people that play patron warrior.
okay maybe that's a bit rude. But I guess you could always try face hunter. Priests are pretty tough to win with right now.
That reminds me that i crafted Jaraxxus 2 months ago to try Handlock again and i have never actually played it again :/

Dream... But don't sleep.
Thanks for all the replies guys!
