I want to poll the Hearth Pwn community to see what everyone thinks. It's of my opinion the first 3-4 turns have the greatest impact on the game. Mulliganing for the right cards is more important or equally as important to individual skill in most games.
The only time I'd say the game is decided is if you have a FACE deck and all of your 3 drops come out for the next 2 turns so you have no momentum, OR if you're playing a TEMP class and, again, all of your late game cards flood out and your top decking is trash. Even then it takes until about turn 4 to realize you're screwed.
Difficult to say really. Obviously the player who has the best of the first 3-4 turns has the best shot of winning. But if they didn't then what would be the point of them? May as well just start at 4 mana.
Many games are but I don't see this as a bad thing because 1 you can't design a cardgame and not have snowball mechanics and 2 matchups where the first couple turns don't matter are so boring.

Of course, you don't expect a player to pass the first 4 turns without doing squat and still come back to win the game right?

In arena, yes. Constructed, nah.
Any matchup involving aggro, yes. Control vs control matters less, and freeze/fatigue matters even less.
Don't play Druid then ;)

The only cancer in Hearthstone is its community.
